Donald Anthony Watson is a 43-year-old convicted felon who shot himself in the genitals on the evening of September 6th, yet he told law enforcement that he was a victim of an attempted robbery. According to a police report, Watson claimed he was taking the trash out of his apartment when he was shot by a Black man who tried to rob him. Once law enforcement found out that Watson falsified his claims, he was charged.
