Ok so those that are wanting to counter racism read Bubba White’s post very carefully and then read my reply. Bubba’s post is the best example out there of why you should not listen to any non-black person who is telling you what you should or shouldn’t do to build yourself up as a PEOPLE, not a PERSON, but a PEOPLE. The same people who will call you racist when you are trying to do something specifically for blacks, will be the same people that point and laugh when your group is deliberately deprived of resources. Since this countries inception, there are blacks that have paid much more taxes than poor whites and still did not have the access to resources that they sometimes had.
Bubba said something about social programs and blacks being uneducated, but he knows that even his poor children would not even be able to go to school if not for Black politicians getting public schools supported by taxes after Reconstruction. Blacks did not want integrated schools, but they did want everyone to have a chance to get an education. And even after blacks doing something to support ALL those that needed it, whites made sure that their schools received more government resources than majority black schools. This is why blacks even considered integration. Not to mention, many blacks had higher incomes and paid much more taxes, but their schools were still deprived of resources.
