October 21, 2017

Over three weeks ago, on October 4, 2017 a member team of US Soldiers were attacked in Niger, a country located in Africa. Donald Trump did not acknowledge this vicious attack until 2 weeks after the event. To avoid all the questions surrounding this event and deflect the focus, Trump did what he is known to do, attack the Blacks. He generally creates a race based attack to serve as a smokescreen to redirect media conversations. Once again, the mainstream media took the bait, but Melanoid Nation will not.

For more details specifically related to the facts being released, please see this full article.

CNN Full Story

For cliff notes, keep reading here.

What? Ambush took place in Niger on a 12 member US team. Sgt. La David Johnson was left behind and his body found 1 mile from the ambush 48 hours after the incident. He was the only black member of this team.

Who? It is being reported that 50 ISIS fighters in Niger attacked the US Troops. Hopefully, you have all seen the movie Rosewood. If you have, you know that is very unclear how many people attacked them or if they are really ISIS. I have not independently been able to verify anywhere that ISIS has claimed credit or how many people actually participated in the attacked.

Where? This took place in Niger, part of Africa. Africa is known for being the home of many resources that fuel the entire planet. The US Claims via known liar John Kelly that the U.S. Special Forces is in Africa [Niger] “to teach them how to respect human rights.” This is the age-old colonial mandate used to as a guise repeatedly to simultaneously destroy our culture, history, and heritage.

N2

How? Intel rated it “unlikely” US team would face opposition: One official has told CNN that the military’s intelligence said it was “unlikely” that the team would run into enemy forces.

“This was not expected,” US Africa Command spokesman Army Col. Mark Cheadle said.

“Had we anticipated this sort of attack we would have absolutely devoted more resources to it to reduce the risk and that’s something we are looking at right now,” he added.

How did Sgt. Johnson get left alone and separated from any member of his team? Well that is quietly being swept under the rug as a protocol issue and the media is being instructed not to blame the 8 surviving officers but I would be disingenuous not to point out the systematic racism underlying this event and the countless times Blacks are devalued on American soil and left alone to die needlessly. The other issue could be that ISIS=Radical Muslim=Blacks=Sgt. La David is just another one of “them” again pointing to the worldview of Blacks in the global system of white supremacy.

A US private aviation contractor conducted evacuations of US and Nigerien troops after they were ambushed, according to US Africa Command spokesperson Robyn Mack. This contractor was hired by the Trump Administration and will be investigated but it could be possible that he has given the contract to one of his unqualified associates he surrounds himself with as he is known to do. His history shows very poor leadership choices in areas where his cronies are grossly unqualified.

Here is what we know via critical thinking and independent investigations. Let us look at the entire picture as we fill in the many missing pieces.

  1. Trump arbitrarily bans Chad under his new and revised Muslim Travel Ban without any explanation and many people wondered why. This went into effect September 25, 2017.
  2. Within days of the new travel ban via Executive Order from Trump, Chad withdraws their troops fighting ISIS from Niger.
  3. ISIS is said to have promptly returned to Niger when Chad leaves.
  4. By October 4, 2017: Four green berets die and two are injured during an ambush of an unprepared ineffectively armed US Special Ops team as a direct result because no one “could have known or properly assessed the threat” to keep our troops safe.
  5. Finally, after weeks of silence on October 19, 2017, Trump re-directs the story to insulting a Black Congresswoman, Dr. Frederica Wilson, and the Sgt. Johnsons’ family.

We also know, Niger is to the nuclear industry what Saudi Arabia is to the oil industry. Trump and Europeans are big fans of nuclear capabilities.

About Niger

N3

While Trump often brags of fire and fury, where is his fire and fury now? For a man, so passionately vocal about respect of our flag and troops, he, his administration, his private contractors, and “ISIS” are clearly being disrespectful in the worse ways directly causing deaths and it is being allowed as Rep. Wilson takes the brunt of being the bad guy.

We have a list of why questions that we are surfacing answers to as we move right pass the Trump drama and lies from a phone call:

Why is the group responsible not being sought and investigated?

Why definitively were the troops on a mission in Niger that Congress was not aware of?

What has been stolen to date from Niger?

Why was Chad added to the travel ban?

As for many of these answers, many groups are involved including the FBI and Congress that are opening investigations. All media outlets should keep the focus on these stories and speak to truth to power. The results and answers from any investigations are yet to be seen.

There is certainly a pattern that has emerged. When African presidents and leaders like Robert Mugabe, a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who has been President of Zimbabwe since 1987, stand up to the global system of white supremacy and demands respect for his land he is made a villain. He is being called a human rights violator by the very people who seek to maintain systematic white supremacy.

The irony is that white race soldiers who have infiltrated our police departments (that we pay taxes for) are allowed and encouraged to execute unarmed Black Americans on film, plant evidence on them, and brutalize blacks with impunity. Tariq Nasheed also pointed out this fact:

Is the International Criminal Court Irrelevant for Africa’s Nations? https://www.melanoidnation.org/is-the-international-criminal-court-irrelevant-for-africas-nations/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/is-the-international-criminal-court-irrelevant-for-africas-nations/#comments Wed, 22 Feb 2017 14:11:41 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=3927 By Amy Lukau

South Africa’s justice minister says that he intends to pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The ICC is a permanent international court established to investigate, prosecute and try individuals accused of committing the most serious crimes of concern to the international community as a whole including genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.

Today, South Africa’s decision to leave the court has been ruled unconstitutional.

South Africa is not alone in its dissatisfaction with the ICC. Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni has also called the court “useless.” African nations of Burundi, Gambia, Kenya, and Namibia have issued similar proclamations.

Gambia’s president said the court was an “‘International Caucasian Court’ for the persecution and humiliation of people of color, especially Africans.”

The decision to leave the court came after South African officials refused to arrest Sudan’s president Omar al-Bashir after the ICC had charged him with alleged war crimes in 2015.

Currently, thirty four African nations are a part of the court which comprises the largest regional bloc of the 122 countries that volunteered to be under the courts jurisdiction. Yet, many would argue that the majority of the leaders prosecuted and subsequently jailed are African.

Many African leaders are now accusing the court of bias.

Nine of the ten current cases under investigation by the court are in African countries.

The ICC has said itself it simply does not have the power to investigate countries in the west, known in international relations as the “global north.”

South Africa’s advocating to leave the ICC has left many Western leaders and international groups fearful that this will lead to a mass exodus of African countries from the court.

Akua Enhances African-Centered Education Methods in Detroit https://www.melanoidnation.org/akua-enhances-african-centered-education-methods-in-detroit/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/akua-enhances-african-centered-education-methods-in-detroit/#comments Thu, 25 Jun 2015 07:23:45 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2052 By: Hasani Ali

DETROIT, MICH. – “If we embrace the victim mentality, then we have given up our authority.”

That inspiring message left the teachers and administrators in silence as award-winning author and educator Chike Akua gave his African-Centered Education (ACE) presentation Saturday morning at Paul Robeson/Malcolm X Academy.

Principal Jeffery Robinson brought in Akua for professional development for his administrators after he was requested from some of his staff.

“I heard about Akua three years ago when my staff heard him speak in Chicago,” he said. “They wanted him here and we had to make that happen.”

As the Academy is known for having an ACE curriculum, Akua made sure that the teachers, both of Melanoid and non-Melanoid decent, understood what exactly ACE is and how to imply it to their students.

Akua simplified the eight essential elements of ACE:

  1. Places Africa, African people and African points of view at the center of all things studied.
  2. Helps students critically examine how the subject or object of study is related to the image and interest of Africa and African people.
  3. Taps into the spirit of the children.
  4. Requires a sharp orientation towards social justice.
  5. Requires methods that are unique and indigenous to the nature and needs of African children.
  6. Asks a simple question of all things: Is it good for African people?”
  7. Requires a consciousness of victory.
  8. Prepares children for sovereignty.

When these elements are all used together, teachers and administrators will use the best of African culture to examine/analyze information, meet needs and solve problems in the African community.

“Usually when our children hear about Africa, they don’t hear about the best of Africa, but the worst,” Akua said.

Amari Akua, Chike’s 12-year-old son, was in attendance at the Academy while he sat and took notes of his father’s teachings. Amari enjoys the fact that his father is an educator and how it impacts not only his life, but the lives of people across the world.

“I feel so inspired to make change whenever I hear my father speaks,” he said. “The family could be relaxing in the house and my dad would begin teaching to us. Though I may not want to hear it at the time, I realize that my father has a gift and I’m thankful for his gift.”

Amari would like to follow his father in the teaching profession at some point of his career, but he would like to explore video game programming or the filming industry.

Akua harped to the teachers that the students must have a sense ancestral history and proceeded to showed the history of African people with pictures from his trips to Kemet (Egypt.)

As the presentation continued, he tied in African history and how the legacy was stolen to help build America. With side-by-side comparisons of American and African monuments, it was clear to the teachers where America got their ideas for their memorials.

“The Ramesu statue is the origin of the Lincoln Memorial,” Akua said with his presentation. “And there’s plenty more that were copied.”

Baba (David) Khari has been a teacher at the school since its second year in operation during the 90’s and teaches at the middle school level.

He assures that since he’s been teaching in all-male classrooms, he can definitely see a difference.

“The students, both boys and girls, function better,” Khari said. “The students are worried about the opinions of the opposite sex and that helps bring the best out of our students.”

Detroit originally had three separate all-boy schools: Paul Robeson, Malcolm X and Marcus Garvey Academy.

“Our former principal Dr. Clifford Dean Watson made sure we had African resources along with the Detroit curriculum,” Khari said. “Our schools were basically operating with two curriculums.”

The plan was to add three additional all -girl schools, but the plan was turned down during the planning stage.

Now that Detroit has downsized with ACE schools, Robinson is looking to empower his staff to ensure the best education for his students.

“We use to make the teachers take African-cultured training classes before they taught here, but due to the financial emergency and other things happening in Detroit we no longer had that authority to enforce that training,” he said. “It’s time for innovation and we’re making that step.”

The Only “Diversity” That Matters in Black Society, Is The Black Experience https://www.melanoidnation.org/the-only-diversity-that-matters-in-black-society-is-the-black-experience/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/the-only-diversity-that-matters-in-black-society-is-the-black-experience/#comments Wed, 17 Jun 2015 21:29:50 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1981 With yesterday’s events surrounding the Dominican Republic/Haitian ordeal, we have no choice but to look at the Black experience, this time from yet another point of view.

The Melanoid people who identify with being Dominican have demanded that their Haitian Brothers and Sisters leave the Dominican Republic. It’s extremely unfortunate, considering that their fallout has a long history of them being manipulated by the white supremacist colonists on both sides (the French for Haiti and the Spanish for the Dominican Republic). As we witnessed yet another view of the Black experience, we must be mindful of just how diverse it is. The circumstances may vary, yet the fundamental causes are the same.

From the super wealthy Europeans who manipulate conflicts among the native Africans as they lust for the natural resources of the mother continent, to the eradication of Melanoid people in Australia, the Black experience is much like the traditional quilts that our mothers and grandmothers would create in generations past: colorful, elaborate in its composition, yet a body of work that has been passed down to act as a narrative to our experience.

Oftentimes, the Black experience is limited to that of the Melanoid people who have resided in Urban America since the Great Migration of the early 1900s. We’re all too familiar with the Black experience as it pertains to “the hood”, yet there are countless Melanoid people in rural and suburban America alone who experience their own version of “Black plight”. The geographic isolation of these Brothers and Sisters is enough to pose a challenge in itself, although it is neither greater–nor or worse–than the Black experience of “the hood”.

The Black experience in Europe is a prime example. Much has been said of the day-to-day dealings of Melanoid people in places such as the U.K. and France, yet the underlying issue remains that they too, experience–and often find ways to counter–racism/white supremacy “across the pond”. An interesting sector of the diverse Black experience on a global scale involves the masses of Melanoid folks who have migrated to Asian countries such as Japan, where the Black experience takes on a life of its own.

Despite our language barriers, the food we eat, or the geographical regions we live in, a Black experience in one area is only represents the patch in the quilt that encompasses the entire Black experience…and this is the ONLY “diversity” we should concern ourselves with at this point in time.

Nigerian Teenagers Create a New Web Browser https://www.melanoidnation.org/nigerian-teenagers-create-a-new-web-browser/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/nigerian-teenagers-create-a-new-web-browser/#comments Sat, 06 Jun 2015 06:41:08 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1873 If it’s true that “A child will lead them”, then Anesi and Osine Ikhianosime are leaders in every sense of the often-used saying.

The Nigerian siblings have shown their love for computers since an age when many barely learn to recite their time tables. Osine developed interest at the age of 7. It was also at this age that he and his brother, Anesi Ikhianosime, who was 9 at the time, came up with the idea of starting a company. Fed up with Google Chrome, they decided to embark on a way to remedy their frustrations with the widely-used web browser by developing their own.

After learning to code at the ages of 12 (Anesi) and 14 (Osine), their hard work paid off, which allowed their efforts to launch CrocodileThe app currently has approximately 5,000 downloads. To add to this remarkable feat performed by the young Melanoid siblings, they embarked upon this project in 2013, around the same time they started to learn to code.

The younger Anesi has already stated that he wants to create another app that will solve real world/real life problems, such as traffic and communication issues. Considering the ages of the young Brothers who have already earned the title of ‘problem solvers’, The future shines brilliantly for them both. The following video shows an ad for the browser, which launched recently.

Africa to Create Free Trade Area More Expansive Than the European Union https://www.melanoidnation.org/africa-to-create-free-trade-area-more-expansive-than-the-european-union/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/africa-to-create-free-trade-area-more-expansive-than-the-european-union/#comments Sat, 30 May 2015 17:18:27 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1839 Africa has taken another step to empower itself by creating an economic base bigger than even the the European Union, or NAFTA.

The Tripartite Free Trade Area will bring 26 African nations together in the deal that will comprise of 600 million people. The deal covers much of the eastern and southern region of the continent. Below are a few video clips of this developing story.

The agreement, which is expected to be reached next month in Egypt, marks a monumental move for Africa’s economic policies, and how commerce on the continent is affected for years to come. In many ways, the mother continent is already at an advantage because of the enormous supply of natural resources that she possesses. It is a well-known fact that the entire globe has fought over control of the continent because of its resources, which is why there has been a several hundred year-old concerted effort to disenfranchise its natural born Melanoid citizens, and their descendants scattered across the globe.

The Rise of the Black Intellectual in the 21st Century https://www.melanoidnation.org/the-rise-of-the-black-intellectual-in-the-21st-century/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/the-rise-of-the-black-intellectual-in-the-21st-century/#comments Sun, 17 May 2015 16:39:02 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1717 From the early days of civilization, until the time that you’ve read this story (and beyond), Melanoid people across the globe have boasted the ability to produce the most intelligent and witty people on the planet, hands down. After all, there is no way that intellectually-challenged people could build the pyramids thousands of years ago. They were built in such a way that their location is positioned with geometric precision in its alignment with certain stars and even other pyramids on the other side of the globe…even to this very day. That’s an excellent example of supreme intellect which was loved and coveted by all who were exposed to it.

Coupled with the lingering effects of racism/white supremacy introduced to us in countless ways during the Maafa, our people’s spirit, bodies, and culture were broken and/or destroyed as a means of forcing us to submit to the oppressive nature of the strange new land we now commonly know as the United States. Although our original African ancestors might have suffered all of these unfortunate acts of oppression, one class of individuals in Black Society seemed to shine brightly in the face of racism/white supremacy: the Black Intellectual.

From inspired poets such as Phyllis Wheatley in the 1700s, to Michael Eric Dyson in 2015 and the multitude of Black Thinkers who have made their mark in between the previously mentioned eras, it’s clear that our race creates bright men and women whose mind is just as sharp–and in numerous cases sharper–than their counterparts in the dominant society. However, like many other signs of progress made in the Civil Rights Era of the 1960s, Black Society’s path seemed to take a left turn. Over the past several decades, there was an underlying train of though among our people (particularly among our youth) that the aspiration to be intelligent was no longer “cool”, and that we would suffer ridicule from our fellow Melanoid Brothers and Sisters for letting our respective brilliant lights shine too brightly. In contrast to this way of thinking, there seems to be a celebration of the Black Intellectual that our people have not witnessed since perhaps the glorious days of the Harlem Renaissance. From Dr. Kaba Kamene, to Dr. Joy DeGruy, the contemporary Black Intellectual has seemingly elevated the awareness of Black Society single handedly by blessing us with a wealth of invaluable information which we are now responsible for implementing into our lives in order to improve our current standing as a race.

Many of us can vividly recall a time within the past 20 years alone when we saw our youth aspire to be athletes and entertainers in overwhelming numbers because they felt that doing so were the only ways to immediate success. In 2015, that particular playing field of our youths’ heroes is slowly but surely leveling in favor of the Black Intellectual. In many ways, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing has become the Queen Mother of current day Black Intellectuals. Dr. Umar Johnson consistently speaks to venues filled with large crowds of Black folks who often exceed capacity in cities all over the world. Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson is a living example of proving how being smart can be “cool” all by himself. To further state the validity of the Black Intellectual’s rise in the 21st century, a segment of Black Society has been formed in which the Brothers and Sisters refer to themselves as “Blerds, or “Black nerds”.

When it comes to Black Society’s current resurgence, it is agreed that the builders will be the ones propel us into the future, but the thinkers in Black Society will be the ones who plant the seeds of ingenuity, inspiration, and empowerment into the minds of our builders. The days of celebrating ignorance and bufoonery are going the way of the dinosaur. Being smart is cool.

U.S. Secretary of State Shows Up in Somalia, Unannounced https://www.melanoidnation.org/u-s-secretary-of-state-shows-up-in-somalia-unannounced/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/u-s-secretary-of-state-shows-up-in-somalia-unannounced/#comments Wed, 13 May 2015 08:02:39 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1693 Last week, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry paid an unexpected visit to Somalia. According to The New York Times, Kerry’s visit to the east African nation makes him the highest-ranking American official and the first American Secretary of State to make an appearance there since American military forces raided the nation over two decades ago.

In spite of many years of slandering, sanctioning, and portraying the Melanoid Brothers and Sisters of Somalia to be savages in the media, it comes as quite the surprise that Kerry dropped in on the country unannounced.

Why would John Kerry show up unannounced to Somalia on such a 1st time visit for the Secretary of State? Is he showing up unannounced in an attempt to hide his moves from China and Russia? Could it be that the continent is consulting with China beforehand, whenever the U.S. says “We are coming to visit African countries” (which means that Kerry’s showing up in Somalia unannounced could keep China out of the relation talks)? This comes at a time when talks have been held in which China is set to open a military base in the same region, on the Horn of Africa.

Kerry’s visit to east Africa wasn’t limited to Somalia, however. He also visited neighboring Djibouti, reportedly not even leaving the airport during the time that he met with officials there. Follow this link to get the story on John Kerry’s trip to Djibouti.

A video clip of Kerry’s visit to Somalia has been provided below.
