Monique Tillman was 15 years old on the fateful day of May 24, 2014, when her and her brother were stopped by a white cop by the name of Jared Williams. The cop, who served double duty as an officer for both the Tacoma Police Department and as mall security, approached the siblings at the Tacoma Mall (working as mall security on that particular day), and warned them that they weren’t allowed to ride their bicycles to cut through the parking lot as a shortcut.

After pleading her case to the officer that she and her brother were only attempting to be on their way peacefully, Tillman appeared to disregard and elude the harassing mall security guard’s demands, most likely in fear for her safety. The officer (Williams) then proceeded to snatch the 15-year-old girl from her bike, choking her and grabbing her hair in the process. The assault continued with Williams applying over 50.000 volts of electricity (through a taser) to the young female.

According to The Free Thought ProjectTillman’s attorney Vito de la Cruz has filed a lawsuit, seeking damages from the race soldier cop, and several other entities that have neglected this attack on the Melanoid girl. Watch the video below to witness the turn of events on that day.

Sheriff Blames Black Girl Victim For The Firing Of Ben Fields https://www.melanoidnation.org/sheriff-blames-black-girl-victim-for-the-firing-of-ben-fields/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/sheriff-blames-black-girl-victim-for-the-firing-of-ben-fields/#comments Wed, 28 Oct 2015 19:07:38 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2819 COLUMBIA, S.C. — It has been announced this morning that Ben Fields, the white cop who assaulted the Black teenage girl in Spring Valley High School, has been fired.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott spoke at a news conference in which he addressed the incident. According to the video in this link, Lott says that Fields has been placed on suspension without pay, and that he has asked the FBI to look into the investigation. He says that the student was “disruptive”, and that “she started” the confrontation with Fields.

Although Fields has held an extensive reputation for being a race soldier in the past, it has been revealed–or contrived–out of nowhere that he has been dating a Black woman “for quite some time”, according to Lott.

Many suspected white supremacists and Black supporters of Ben Fields say that the race soldier had every right to act in the way that he did because the young girl provoked him to use brute force against her. However, new information has surfaced which should have us questioning the supporters of Fields. The photo below is a screenshot of a social media post which delves into the personal life of the child who was beat up by the cop on Monday:

It appears to be likely that this young girl was simply “acting out” in class on Monday because of a tumultuous year which has inflicted enormous emotional and psychological damage on her. It is well-known that victims–especially children–who suffer from such trauma usually engage in what’s known as “rambunctious” behavior because they often are unable to cope with everything that has happened to them.

Black Woman Creates Black Doll With Natural Hair to Give Her Daughters Positive Imagery to Follow https://www.melanoidnation.org/black-woman-creates-black-doll-with-natural-hair-to-give-her-daughters-positive-imagery-to-follow/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/black-woman-creates-black-doll-with-natural-hair-to-give-her-daughters-positive-imagery-to-follow/#comments Sat, 23 May 2015 16:39:12 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1770 For years, Melanoid children, especially Melanoid girls, have been shown images that aim to make them feel inferior, hence the disheartening “doll experiment that our children have been involved in. One Melanoid woman from Miami, Florida has sought out to reshape the inferiority complex that many of our children suffer from.

Angelica Sweeting, and her husband Jason, started to observe how their daughters “wanted to have yellow hair and white skin (according to Angelica)”, which moved Mrs. Sweeting to create Naturally Perfecta doll that exhibits the natural beauty of Black females. With its kinky hair that was actually tested for 8 months to ensure that it could withstand the various natural hair styling methods, the Naturally Perfect doll also boasts the classical African/Melanoid facial features and skin tone, which is a far cry from the synthetic look of the Black dolls created by manufacturers of the dominant society.

This is only the beginning for the Naturally Perfect doll, as Mrs. Sweeting’s Kickstarter campaign actually exceeded its funding goal of $25,000 earlier this week. We can boost our young girls perception of beauty and self-esteem by continuing to support Mrs. Sweeting’s movement.

Check out this video below that shows the Sweeting family explaining the Naturally Perfect doll.
