A body cam shows that Ms. Cooks was slammed to the ground by cops after tthey responded to a traffic dispute between Cooks and an unidentified white woman. As you can see from the footage, the woman was just dropping her daughter off at school, when she was harassed by the officers, then manhandled as if she was a dangerous threat to them. To make matters worse, the white woman who Ms. Cooks was involved in the dispute with, was let go. Follow this link for more on this story.
