Former Lesbian Lover Of Cop Who Arrested Innocent Black Man Says “She’s Racist”

Whenever Black people put themselves in a position to challenge systematic racism, the momentum is usually diverted (deliberately) by people deflecting into topics about “intersectionality” and LGBT issues. This is often done as an attempt to claim that LGBT issues/discrimination/oppression is on a comparative level as Black issues and discrimination.

But there are several people in the white Lesbian/Gay community who share the same racist views about Black people that other white supremacists have in the dominant society.

Case in point: Melanoid Nation recently featured a story about a white lesbian police officer, Cynthia Whitlatch who was caught on tape wrongfully arresting an innocent elderly Black man,after lying about him having a weapon. It was also revealed that Whitlatch has made extremely racist comments about Black people on her Facebook page.

Corinne Purucker who is the former lesbian lover of Whitlatch has come out and confirmed that the officer is a white supremacist.

According to thestranger.com Purucker said she was in a relationship with Whitlatch for more than two years. During their relationship, Purucker said, Whitlatch made racist comments about black people she’d encountered while on patrol in Seattle and, in the spring of 2005, stole marijuana from SPD evidence that the couple then smoked together.

“She’s a racist,” Purucker said.
