Jacob Ryan Delgadillo, 30, was arrested in January for allegedly having carried out sex acts inside Cullen Middle School’s girl’s bathroom. Suspicions were raised by teachers when they observed the officer blowing kisses to the teen through a window to a classroom.

Friends of the teen victim told the authorities the girl performed oral sex on him while on school property. Later, the victim confirmed she’d had oral sex with the officer, after confessing the act to a teacher. A subsequent investigation by police led to his arrest.

The current police state we are now living in has allowed predators to gain employment as “police officers” in order to engage in the most despicable  behavior imaginable with complete impunity.

Ethel Easter, a Black woman who resides in Houston, went recently under the knife because of intestinal issues. Prior to her procedure, Easter decided to place a small audio recording device in her hair to catch anything that her surgeons possibly could have said about her while she was rendered unconscious. Her reasoning for doing this was because of skepticism from the less-than-professional treatment she received during her consultations with her doctor, who demanded the following:

Who do you think you are? You’re gonna wait like everyone else.

Ms. Easter recalled the doctor telling her this in response to her sense of urgency and concern in regards to her wanting to prevent further damage to her internal organs. She was ordered to wait two months, as opposed to a much shorter time frame. What was to take place during her surgery was extremely cruel. The surgeons would make snide remarks about Easters physique, with one of them at one point even referring to her as “Precious” (the movie character portrayed by actress Gabby Sidibe).

Ours isn’t the only place that has covered this topic. Other media outlets such as Black Enterprise, Huffington Post, and Forbes have all done the same.

While all of the dialogue and the news coverage of this issue have been extremely thought-provoking and informative, the burning question is: At this point in time, does it really matter where Black people choose to live and/or relocate to in the U.S.?

Nationwide redlining, unarmed Blacks being murdered (in places like Atlanta) by race soldiers, and being kicked out of night spots (in places like Houston) are occurring in areas that we have been migrating to in recent years…and it’s happening for no sensible reason other than the color of our skin..and the lack of solidarity in Black Society. Is it a safe assumption to make that white supremacy is far-reaching, and could care less about what new “Black Meccas” we attempt to move to (if there’s no sustainable economic base in place)?

Do you feel that there should be specific areas where Melanoid people reside in order to collectively build and thrive? Why or why not?

Today, Gaslamp has gone on the defensive, by having their attorney Tim Sutherland post an inflammatory video on youtube defending the suspected white supremacist policies of the establishment. In the video Sutherland tries to dance around the fact that Gaslamp has violated to constitutional rights of Black citizens by using terms like “property rights” and “freedom of association.”

In an attempt to shift blame onto the Black victims of Gaslamp’s suspected racist door policies, Sutherland arrogantly claimed  “some customers may bring with them, a lifetime of race based issues they have experienced.”

Sutherland also makes the false claim that “federal discrimination laws does not apply to nightclubs”. But Title II of the Civil Rights Act specifically applies to places of public accommodation, such as bars, restaurants, and hotels. Only private night clubs and establishments can discriminate against or allow people in based on their own discretion. Gaslamp is not a private establishment. It is a public bar and it failed under the Civil Rights Act as well as the Constitution. So Gaslamp should be investigated for violating the Constitutional rights of Black citizens.

Below is another video from a few weeks ago of a Hispanic patron was allegedly denied entry of the Gaslamp bar based of race. In the video you can see the victim get into an altercation with one of the race soldiers in law enforcement hired to enforce the suspected racist policies of the establishment.

Brandon Ball, Kennard D. Piggee, and Dan Scarborough were three professional Black men who decided to enjoy a night on the town at a local bar in Houston this past weekend (Friday Sept. 11th), when they were abruptly stopped by the staff of Gaslamp bar. According to Atty. Ball, what he and his friends experienced that night was the typcial case of racial discrimination. Here’s what Ball wrote on his Facebook page, which can also be seen by following this link:

My name is Brandon Ball. I am 32 years old. I am African American. Tonight I was with my friends Dan Scarbrough (42) and Ken Piggee (43). Both are also African American. We were in the Midtown area of Houston, TX tonight and tried to go into The Gaslamp. Both Dan and Ken had on blazers. I had on a button up and slacks. When we walked up the guy at the door told us $20 each (pictured below in the long sleeve shirt). We didn’t want to pay that amount so we decided to go to the next bar down, The Dogwood, which was free.

After about 30 minutes we left The Dogwood and were walking back. As we passed The Gaslamp we noticed folks walking into The Gaslamp without having to pay. Those folks who didn’t have to pay were white. I brought this to Dan’s attention a few minutes later and he said we should go back and just watch from across the street to see if there was some “funny business” going on.

Ken, Dan, and I went back and watched from across the street as the guys who were working the front door of The Gaslamp (pictured) allowed white people to come in one after the other. Every black person who we watched try to go in was told there was a $20 cover or that their attire was not proper. One black guy was told that he could not get in because he had on Polo Boots.

Dan spoke to several people who were told there was a $20 cover and they pretty much all said the same thing. It was not just blacks they were charging. It was people of both Asain and Latin decent.

I again tried to walk in and was told there was a $20 cover. This was right after I had just seen a group of white guys walk right in.

I finally went and spoke to the cop (also pictured) who was working the door (who is a minority himself) and asked him if he was aware and comfortable with how the door guys were conducting business. His reply was basically…”I just work and do my job and those guys over there do their job.” I told him he was complicit but he blew me off.

I then took pictures of the two main guys at the front door (pictured below) and both of them began to ask if I had a problem. The one in the short sleeved shirt went as far to tell me that he hoped I didn’t “run up on him in the streets because it would be a problem.”

Why does this matter to me? Why is this important? If I have to answer that please just move along. This post is not meant for you. This event occurred in the late night of Sept. 11th. A day in which we as a country are supposed to come together. But events like this just tells us how far apart we are.

Despite this unfortunate incident, this isn’t the first occasion where Melanoid men are forced out of nightlife venues. Oftentimes, many of these establishments create outlandish rules to specifically target Melanoid men based upon our distinctive–and trendsetting– sense of fashion. Another reason why white supremacists keep Black men out of their bars & nightclubs is bred out of an envious fear of the “Black guys taking all of our women”.

Besides, who needs bars like Gaslamp, when there is a plethora of other opportunities for grown Black folks to truly enjoy themselves without strings attached?

Darren Goforth, a 10-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, was shot and killed on Friday in what officials are calling an “execution-style” attack. The suspect, , was apprehended less than 24 hours after authorities say he ambushed Goforth at a gas station. He’s been charged with capital murder.

Goforth is survived by a wife, a 12-year-old daughter, and a 5-year-old son.

“We’ve heard Black Lives Matter, All Lives Matter. Well, cops’ lives matter, too,” Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said at a press conference Saturday.

There is zero evidence that Shannon Miles is connected to Black Lives Matter or any other Black organization,and these suspected white supremacist officials endanger the safety of other innocent Black citizen by playing the race card in a case that has no evidence of racial motivation whatsoever.
