On Saturday, April 23, 2016, Klan members and other white extremists (as well as their sympathizers) will be coming together at Stone Mountain, GA at 11:00AM (Eastern Time).

Word of this upcoming event has been circulated by several internet-based forums, particularly the white supremacist site known as stormfront.orgHowever, the most notable site in which the news has spread is Facebook, the same site which has gone to great lengths to shut down any and every significant Black movement and/or sharing of information, as well as prominent Black people who use their platform on Facebook to challenge systematic racism/white supremacy.

Follow this link to view the Facebook event page for this upcoming event.

Melanoid people should be placed on advance notice about events such as this, because innocent Black people could have their lives spared by doing so in the event that these white extremists get emboldened to carry out attacks on the Black citizens of Stone Mountain and surrounding areas.

KKK Looks To ‘Advance Klan Country’ In Georgia, Gains an Unlikely Ally In The Process https://www.melanoidnation.org/kkk-looks-to-advance-klan-country-in-georgia-gains-an-unlikely-ally-in-the-process/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/kkk-looks-to-advance-klan-country-in-georgia-gains-an-unlikely-ally-in-the-process/#comments Sun, 15 Nov 2015 18:58:44 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2894 The Ku Klux Klan wants to literally mark their territory in the state of Georgia.

After the white extremist group  saw their requests to adopt-a-mile close to the North Carolina border rejected by the Georgia Department of Transportation, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) came to the aid of the Klan by challenging the rejection.

Maya Dillard Smith, Executive Director of Georgia’s ACLU branch, released the following statement:

Accessing the Georgia courts to defend ones constitutional rights is fundamental to protect those very rights. But the state of Georgia believes Georgians only have the right to exercise defense of their most fundamental rights, only if the state says so. It’s that kind of unchecked power that erodes individual liberty guaranteed to each Georgian by the U.S. and Georgia state Constitution.

Although the Klan technically does have the right to “adopt-a-mile”, perhaps the most interesting issue about this story is the ACLU’s willingness to assist the hate group in having their requests granted by the state. The mile that the KKK looks to adopt is located on Route 515 near the border of North Carolina.

If this appeal is granted to the Klan, this would send a vivid and threatening statement to Melanoid people who are living, working, and/or traveling around or through this stretch of highway.

Here is a video showing the Klan’s appeal to adopt a mile in North Georgia, which has being in the works for the past three years.

Here is a link to the story.

Student In California High School Posted KKK Lynching Message, Creates Student Walkout https://www.melanoidnation.org/student-in-california-high-school-posted-kkk-lynching-message-creates-student-walkout/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/student-in-california-high-school-posted-kkk-lynching-message-creates-student-walkout/#comments Sun, 08 Nov 2015 22:14:34 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2877 BERKELEY, CA — A crowd of nearly 2,000 high school students took to the streets of Berkeley this past Thursday (Nov. 5) to protest the threats of terrorism delivered by a white extremist at Berkeley High School.

The students marched to UC Berkeley, where they voiced their displeasure for what had just transpired at their school that day. According to reports, a student was found creating a memo in the school’s library that read, KKK Forever Public Lynching December 9th 2015. Once questioned about committing such an act, the male student confessed to doing so.

In reaction to the threat that was made via computer on Thursday, the school has opted to use the exact same date of the threat’s manifestation (Dec. 9) to allow the Melanoid students of the school the opportunity to openly discuss issues of race with school district officials. Possible solutions to this issue will also be proposed among the students.

The Black Student Union of Berkeley High School posted the following Tweet in response to the terroristic threat made that day.

To show support and well-wishes for the young students of Berkeley High School’s Black Student Union, here is there email address: berkeleyhighschoolbsu@gmail.com

Husband Of Mayor In Oklahoma Dressed Up As Klansman On Halloween https://www.melanoidnation.org/husband-of-mayor-in-oklahoma-dressed-up-as-klansman-on-halloween/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/husband-of-mayor-in-oklahoma-dressed-up-as-klansman-on-halloween/#comments Tue, 03 Nov 2015 08:23:51 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2844 LAHOMA, OK — This tiny Oklahoma town located approximately 2 hours northwest of Oklahoma City has a population of about 700 people on a good day, and a mayor who’s married to a white supremacist.

Theresa Sharp, the mayor of Lahoma, has a husband named Cary, who decided to spend this past Halloween evening with a few buddies who all donned the white hoods and robes of the Ku Klux Klan. An eyewitness named Misty Meister called the police to report the incident. What she reported to authorities was extremely disturbing. According to Meister, the men were dressed as Klansmen while standing around a a backyard bonfire…and they allegedly burned a cross as well.

Garland County (OK) Sheriff Deputy Aaron Moore told Meister that the men’s decision to been seen dressed in Klan gear was their “constitutional right”. Cary Sharp attempted to explain why he and the other men were dressed in this manner, and he had the following to say:

Sit around the bonfire and drink a couple of beers and thought, well my buddy — his last name is White — and the subject got brung up. We just thought it’d be something to do (because they thought it’d be funny), and it’s not something to do. I am embarrassed. I’ve shamed my family and friends, and I apologize for that.

Although Mayor Sharp delivered an apology in regards to her husband, we can’t help but wonder about the countless numbers of politicians here in the U.S. who are either directly involved in these white nationalist (supremacist) groups, or are very closely connected to people who are. No charges were pressed against Cary Sharp or his accomplices.

Here’s the video to the news story below.

Klan Members Set To Be Exposed By “Anonymous” Group https://www.melanoidnation.org/klan-members-set-to-be-exposed-by-anonymous-group/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/klan-members-set-to-be-exposed-by-anonymous-group/#comments Mon, 02 Nov 2015 09:15:19 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2839 If you can recall a story that surfaced earlier this year in which former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan David Duke threatened to expose some of his Klansmen brethren (who serve as Republcans in high positions of government) for their opposition to Steve Scalise’s decision to speak to a white supremacist group in 2002, then this most recent story will seem eerily similar.

Anonymousthe online hacker group which has unveiled extremely explosive information regarding race soldier cops and white extremist murderers of Black people, has threatened to release the names of approximately 1,000 Klan members who happen to be holding various positions of influence throughout the country.

Here is a link to the video which was shown on the group’s Facebook page

The list, which is featured on the video in the link above, has compiled the names of several government officials who allegedly serve in sizable Southern/”Middle American” cities. Ironically, this could possibly explain in part why much of the police violence against Melanoid people have occurred in these areas in recent months and years and has gone unpunished and ignored by many of these same politicians.

Politicians in Tennessee at Odds Over Former Leader of KKK https://www.melanoidnation.org/politicians-in-tennessee-at-odds-over-former-leader-of-kkk/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/politicians-in-tennessee-at-odds-over-former-leader-of-kkk/#comments Tue, 23 Jun 2015 09:14:40 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=2041 NASHVILLE, TN — Tennessee state officials are divided by more than just the colors of their respective political affiliations.

After an email was released from Tennessee Democratic Party Chairwoman Mary Mancini that linked last week’s Charleston killings to a 1940 murder of a West Tennessee NAACP activist, her Republican counterparts vehemently denied any overt racism that occurred in the state. Republican Party chairman Ryan Haynes accused her of looking to raise funds from the unfortunate incident. “They’re trying to profit from a horrific situation. That is inappropriate in every sense of the word,” Haynes said. “It’s disrespectful to a community that is still living this horror. It is highly disrespectful to those who lost their lives last Wednesday night in Charleston.”

Mancini’s actions aren’t the only issue here. Republicans and Democrats are currently in opposition over the possible removal of the bust of former Confederate Army General and Ku Klux Klan leader Nathan Bedford Forrest from the state capital building. U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper, D-Tenn., and state House Minority Leader Craig Fitzhugh, D-Ripley, are both calling for the removal of the bust of the Klan leader, stating that it has ‘no place in the Tennessee statehouse.’

The white supremacist general, who massacred 300 Melanoid soldiers during the Civil War, and served as the first Grand Wizard of the KKK, has had a bust statue in his honor located in the Tennessee state capital building since 1978.

White Extremist Propaganda Featured in Arkansas Town https://www.melanoidnation.org/white-extremist-propaganda-featured-in-arkansas-town/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/white-extremist-propaganda-featured-in-arkansas-town/#comments Mon, 04 May 2015 03:56:43 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=1609 A billboard in Russellville, Arkansas displays an advertisement which promotes a white extremist movement. The billboard reads, ‘It’s NOT Racist to Love (heart symbol)  Your People’. The billboard also features a link to whiteprideradio.com, which is a white Christian extremist website.

Russellville mayor Randy Horton stepped in this past weekend, stating that this billboard suggests “a racist tone to many who have seen it.” In true white supremacist fashion, the city’s white establishment maintained its code of conduct by stating that the billboard was not able to be taken down because the city claimed to have no control over the billboard, according to the mayor. This poses as a potential threat to any Melanoid people who may live in close proximity to Russellville, because of the covert white supremacist propaganda that is being displayed on this particular sign.

In retrospect, the city of Russellville’s nonchalant attitude towards this sign exposes the hypocritical nature of white supremacy as it pertains to the young Melanoid students in Georgia who recently expressed their frustrations in this country by walking on the American flag in protest of racism white supremacy. This billboard is the proverbial burning cross in the front yards of vulnerable Melanoid men, women, and children across this country.

The New KKK is Welcoming Black Members: Would You Join? https://www.melanoidnation.org/the-new-kkk-is-welcoming-black-members-would-you-join/ https://www.melanoidnation.org/the-new-kkk-is-welcoming-black-members-would-you-join/#comments Thu, 13 Nov 2014 23:48:04 +0000 http://melanoidnation.org/?p=80 Recently, KKK organizer John Abarr has been trying to promote a new “diverse” Ku Klux Klan organization by forming a new Klan chapter. According to a recent interview with the Great Falls Tribune, this new KKK chapter proclaims it won’t discriminate against race, religion or sexual orientation.

“The KKK is for a strong America,” Abarr told the newspaper. “White supremacy is the old Klan. This is the new Klan.”

Abarr and his KKK organization even had a sit down meeting with the NAACP in 2013 to discuss racial issues. Many people look at these actions by Abarr as being a publicity stunt to rebrand himself and to legitimize his image after being associated with a known terrorist organization like the KKK for so many years.

White supremacists like Abarr and others have no problem appearing to make a mockery out of the KKK,because there are several other more refined and sophisticated white extremist organizations like American Renaissance and the National Alliance to name a few.

This stunt by Abarr appears to be another entry in the Post Racial Propaganda campaign that many people were trying to promote after the election of President Obama. Even today,in an attempt to deny the existence of systematic white supremacy, many people will try to use the “if American is so racists, why would we elect a Black president” talking point.

Since President Obama has been in office,we have seen systematic white supremacy circle back in a vicious and violent wave. Melanoid men, women and children are unjustly, and legally targeted, attacked beaten, and killed by law enforcement on a daily basis in the U.S. And white supremacists around the country support and encourage these law enforcement officials to continue these actions against Melanese people.

So it’s very disingenuous to deny the existence of blatant systematic racism in America because “we have a Black president”. Pretty soon the new post-racial talking point might be:

“There is no more racism in America, because the KKK is allowing Black people to join”.
