Initially the medical examiner determined his death was a suicide, a ruling that Keita’s family disagreed with.

“Ben was very happy young man,” dad Ibrahimi Keita told KOMO News. “He was already in the running start program going to Everett Community College. No history of depression or anxiety.”

It is common for authorities to lie and cover up these types of anti-Black lynchings by claiming the victims “committed suicide.” But the medical examiner in Keita’s case would later change the cause of death to undetermined because the rope used to hang the teen was tied 50 feet high in the tree. Also a search in that same area where the lynching occurred did not turn up anything.

So the questions that the Melanoid community must ask, is will these Jim Crow style lynchings continue to increase under this re-energized, openly white supremacist system? And what should Melanoid people do about it?

There were a total of 9 documented lynchings in America in the 1950’s and 60’s. But according to the Mapping Police Violence website, over 100 unarmed Black people were executed by suspected race soldiers in 2015 alone. The Guardian website has a database that lists the 2016 police killings. And when you compile the number of unarmed executions of Black citizens, and include the number of cases where race soldiers lied about the victims having a weapon (or lied about being threatened by a weapon, as in the Keith Scott case), the 2016 execution toll gets close to 100.

And in almost all of these racialized executions, the suspected race soldiers posing as police are never charged or punished.

In 2006 the FBI issued a warning stating that white supremacist organizations are infiltrating law enforcement. Yet, the government chose not to do anything about this terror threat against innocent citizens. Because these white supremacist race soldiers were infiltrating law enforcement for the sole purpose of executing innocent Black citizens.

And this is exactly what has been happening to unarmed Black Americans. So Black Americans must come to the realization that they have a God given right to protect themselves by any means necessary.

A Joe’s Crab Shack near Minneapolis was visited by two Melanoid people on Wednesday when they noticed a photo depicting a lynch mob featuring captions with tasteless humor. Tyrone Williams and Chauntyll Allen–the two customers who noticed the photo, complained to management about what they saw, then opted not to dine at the establishment.

The Minneapolis chapter of the NAACP intervened upon hearing of the incident, and the chapter’s president, Nekima Levy-Pounds had the following to say in a press conference:

This disturbing incident that occurred at Joe’s Crab Shack, demonstrates that racism is still alive and well in this country. It is sickening to know that someone would make a mockery of black men being savagely lynched and then use that imagery for decorative purposes in a restaurant.

“I have felt sick to my stomach and stressed out since seeing that image on the table where I was planning to eat my food,” Tyrone told Minneapolis’s KARE 11.

The adult white males, whose ages ranged from their late teens through their early twenties, took it upon themselves to regularly terrorize innocent Melanoid people who were defenseless (such as disabled individuals) or innocent Melanoid people who didn’t have the voice or resources to speak up for themselves in court (such as homeless individuals, or people suffering from alcoholism).

The premise of their forays into the streets of Jackson was known as going to “Jafrica”–a word play combination of “Jackson”, the city in which they would commit the crimes, and “Africa”–a reference to the city’s large population of Melanoid people. Earlier in the evening of June 26, the men, led by Deryl Dedmon, Jr., went to Jackson so that they could (in the words of Dedmon), “go fuck with some niggers”.

After confronting Mr. Anderson in the motel’s parking lot that night, the four white men severely beat him, chanting “white power” in the process, then appearing to leave the man bloodied and barely able to walk. Dedmon gets in his Ford F-250 truck, accelerates the gas, and crushes James Craig Anderson with the vehicle.

As a result of the damages done by the men, a federal judge has ordered that they pay the late Mr. Anderson’s family $840,000 in restitutions.

The students marched to UC Berkeley, where they voiced their displeasure for what had just transpired at their school that day. According to reports, a student was found creating a memo in the school’s library that read, KKK Forever Public Lynching December 9th 2015. Once questioned about committing such an act, the male student confessed to doing so.

In reaction to the threat that was made via computer on Thursday, the school has opted to use the exact same date of the threat’s manifestation (Dec. 9) to allow the Melanoid students of the school the opportunity to openly discuss issues of race with school district officials. Possible solutions to this issue will also be proposed among the students.

There has been a recent trend in Black Society which sees a segment of Melanoid men opt to wear suits almost everywhere they go. The reason why, you ask? Allegedly, the Brothers are doing so in response to the recent occurrences of Melanoid people being murdered by white supremacist race soldiers. In an article from Mashable,  several Melanoid gentlemen were featured, explaining their need to be dressed well at all times:

“If they dress up, they showed how grateful and sacred they saw freedom as, therefore showing white people that they could be recognized as humans”, says Calvin Warren, an assistant professor of American Studies at George Washington University. Mr. Warren, who also happens to be a Melanoid man, recently spoke to a class he taught, titled “Representing Black Men”. Several of the Melanoid students asked Mr. Warren what could be done to prevent racial profiling by race soldiers, and Warren’s reply was an interesting one:

“Clothing choices are life or death choices.”

Although the aforementioned statement may appear to be simple to many, Mr. Warren articulated a certain perception that has been shared in Black Society that is quite complex. For years, it has been stated that Melanoid people–particularly the men of Black Society–need to veer away from the fashion choices that  many believe Melanoid men make. Those choices include the more laid-back clothing combos of jeans, t-shirts, hoodies (in cooler temperatures), with sneakers.

What should be emphasized, is the unfortunate fact that many of the Melanoid men (and in many cases Melanoid women as well) who were lynched, beaten, and harassed by law enforcement were well-dressed individuals whose “presentable” image was totally disregarded by their assailants. Check out the following images which show that the Melanoid victims were actually very presentable in their appearance.

Lawrence Otis Graham, a member of Black Society who is a well-known attorney and bestselling author, seemed to echo the sentiments expressed in the Mashable  article. Last year, Mr. Graham was featured in an ABC News report. In the interview from the report, Graham explained why his sons aren’t allowed to wear dark clothing, hoodies, or shirts with labels of any sort. You can see the interview in the video below.

Another prime example of how this issue is highly questionable would be none other than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King was arrested, harassed by law enforcement, and eventually assassinated because of his position as a prominent leader in Black Society. In a nutshell, he was deemed a serious threat by those in the dominant society. That being stated, we’d be hard pressed to find pictures of people like Patrice Lumumba, Dr. King, Malcolm X, and many other Melanoid martyrs wearing “threatening” looking clothing, because we’ve mostly seen them in suits and ties. The oppressive and system of white supremacy disregards what style of clothing Melanoid people choose to wear, because its murderous agenda is anti-Black to its core…whether we decide to wear Timberlands OR Tom Ford.

Otis Byrd, the 54-year-old Melanoid man who was found hanging from a tree–quite likely from lynching–was denied of posthumous justice. The incident, which occurred in Claiborne County Mississippi, sparked much concern, and was the center of national news outlets.

Fast forward to today, and it has been ruled by the Department of Justice that there appears to be a lack of evidence needed to proceed with criminal civil rights charges in the death of Mr. Byrd.

 The man was identified as 43-year-old Roosevelt Champion III. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently working with the Greensboro Police Department. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
