In the comments section of the Miami Herald’s website, Iber decided to leave a comment via his Facebook account which showed his staunch support for Eric Casebolt, the white supremacist race soldier who assaulted Melanoid teenagers last week at a pool party in McKinney, Texas. Below is a screenshot of Iber’s comments left on the site:

Ambrose Sims, the Black man who responded to Iber’s comments in the screenshot, happens to be a veteran of the Miami Beach Police Department, yet he refused to allow his position as a law enforcement officer be held to higher regard than his race, as you can see in his comment. Iber allegedly claimed that he meant to leave the comment anonymously, which further validates suspicion  about the racist trolls who lurk on Internet stories (which are serious in nature) where Melanoid people are the topic of those particular stories. What is even more alarming about this situation is that Iber served as a principal of a school that is 85 percent Black.

Iber was asked to step down form his position as principal of North Miami Senior High School today. He has been reassigned.

One Melanoid woman from Miami, Florida has sought out to reshape the inferiority complex that many of our children suffer from.

Angelica Sweeting, and her husband Jason, started to observe how their daughters “wanted to have yellow hair and white skin (according to Angelica)”, which moved Mrs. Sweeting to create Naturally Perfect, a doll that exhibits the natural beauty of Black females. With its kinky hair that was actually tested for 8 months to ensure that it could withstand the various natural hair styling methods, the Naturally Perfect doll also boasts the classical African/Melanoid facial features and skin tone, which is a far cry from the synthetic look of the Black dolls created by manufacturers of the dominant society.

This is only the beginning for the Naturally Perfect doll, as Mrs. Sweeting’s Kickstarter campaign actually exceeded its funding goal of $25,000 earlier this week. We can boost our young girls perception of beauty and self-esteem by continuing to support Mrs. Sweeting’s movement.
