Suspected White Supremacist Judge McLaughlin Makes Racist Statement “Black Lives Don’t Matter To Black People With Guns”

Black people are constantly instructed not to make criminal cases about race. Whenever there is an injustice imposed upon a Black citizen that garners national attention, the Black person or their family is immediately instructed to get in front of a camera and proclaim that “it’s not about race”.

Manhattan Judge Edward McLaughlin took it upon himself to generalize and stereotype random Black people who had nothing to do with a case he was presiding over this week. A Harlem man named Tareek Arnold was convicted of attempted murder. And during the sentencing, for a trial that had absolutely nothing to do with race whatsoever, the Judge took it upon himself to racialize the case by stating “black lives don’t matter to black people with guns” before sentencing him in prison for 24 to 26 years.

For McLaughlin to lump all Black people -particularly Black gun owners- together and tie them into this random unrelated case, this is the epitome of systematic white supremacy.

Throughout the history of this country, the white supremacists have always used random crimes of certain Black people to justify harming and mistreating all Black citizens as a group.

There are thousands of Black gun owners who are not criminals. The majority of mass shootings are done by white perpetrators, yet white people are never marginalized in the media or in the courtrooms.

In true white supremacist fashion, the white supremacist media did their part to assist in the racializing of this case. The New York Post ran a story about the case using the standard racist codewords utilized by many media outlets when reporting on cases involving Black people. The New York Post’s story was entitled “Judge Rips Thug”.

If all Black people are going to be marginalized and held accountable for the actions of random Black people who happen to be criminals, then all white people should be held accountable for the actions of millions of white supremacists who have practiced the crime of racism for the last 500 years.

NYPD Officers Now Required to Issue Receipts During Stop-And-Frisk Attempts

For the entirety of its existence, the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policy has been deemed highly questionable and controversial in the way that it targets Melanoid people in New York City. According to the New York Civil Liberties Union, the first half of 2015 saw New Yorkers getting stopped by the police 13,604 times, with 11,124 of them being totally innocent. 7,158 of the people stopped were Black.

In what appears to be an attempt to curb such a heavy trend in NYC, police are now required to give a slip with a title that reads “What Is A Stop?” to the people they stop for questioning. As of Sept. 21st, NYPD cops will no longer be able to stop-and-frisk a person because they “look nervous or suspicious”. Stop-and-frisk is an ongoing problem that has even caused long-term trauma among Melanoid people who were targeted by this policy. Black-Owned Notary Company is Providing Nationwide Services

For those who aren’t familiar with what a notary is, and why there is a need for them in society, then here’s a brief rundown. According to the National Notary Association, a Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government —typically by the secretary of state — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing a variety of official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents.

Wall Street Officially Acknowledges Its Ugly History

For years now, many members of Black Society were aware of the fact that New York City’s Wall Street was once held as a marketplace for African slaves who were brought here to this country. Centuries later, NYC;s financial district is formally owning up to this fact themselves.

The exact location where the transactions were made occurred on the corner of of Wall and Pearl Streets from 1711 to 1762, and played its part as sole industry in the United States which jump started its nearly 240 years of economic prosperity.

A 16-inch-by-24-inch metal sign is scheduled to be erected this upcoming June, which commemorates 150 years since the official ending of slavery in the U.S. As we all know, however, Wall Street’s open acknowledgement of slavery alone will not erase the traumatic memories connected with the evils of slavery, and its lingering effects on Melanoid people in the U.S. to this day.

Non Indictment of Daniel Pantaleo Supports The System of White Supremacy

New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo will not be indicted for his role in the July death of Staten Island, NY resident Eric Garner. Pantaleo, who is white, executed an outlawed chokehold on Mr. Garner, who is black, after the officer and four colleagues accosted Mr. Garner for allegedly selling illegal cigarettes. The non indictment comes despite Mr. Garner’s death being ruled a homicide by the city’s coroner’s office.
This edict exacerbates the strained race relations between America and her black inhabitants on the heels of the non indictment of Darren Wilson, a white former police officer who shot and killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown. Mr. Garner’s death preceded showed his pleas for life when he said “I can’t breathe!” as Pantaleo ignored his requests to continue to choke the life out of him. Never mind that all five officers had Mr. Garner on his stomach.
The struggle between Mr. Garner and the officers showed the officers’ apparent lack of respect for black life. Pantaleo could have let up on the illegal chokehold because his colleagues had Mr. Garner under control. Then again, suspected white supremacists have no regard for black life. Making matters worse, on the heels of the non indictment, New York City mayor Bill DeBlasio said “Black lives matter.” Such an assertion would never have to be made if white supremacy didn’t exist. As a native New Yorker, the fact that a white police officer can kill an unarmed black man without impunity is extremely disturbing. It also serves as a wakeup call that white supremacy is on the march in 2014, and if we as black people in America don’t adapt a code of conduct to combat white supremacy fast, we’ll soon meet our own extinction.

Why Are Blacks Returning to the South?

For the past ten-plus years, many Southern States have witnessed an influx of blacks from areas that are typically known to be Blue—or democratic—states. This particular trend is the reverse of the one that occurred during the Reconstruction Era, when many blacks left the South in large numbers to work in the factories of cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Gary, and Cleveland. Cities such as New York benefited greatly from the migration, which positioned the city to host such golden eras as the Harlem Renaissance, which spanned the 1920s.

Decades later, however, the tables have turned. Blacks are returning to the South in large numbers, making their homes in cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, and Houston. Although the overall black population in the South is considerably lower than what it was before the Great Migration in the early 1900s, it does boast roughly 57 percent of the African American population residing there.

Another factor that contributes to the black migration back to the South is the cost of living. Cities such as Los Angeles New York, and Washington, D.C. are homes to some of the nation’s highest cost-of-living indexes. For example, the median home price in Atlanta is $248,000, compared to Washington, D.C., where the median home price is nearly $500,000.

Perhaps the most unnerving factor that has prompted blacks to return to the South is the shadow of gentrification that looms over many of the United States’ metropolitan areas. Because gentrification has forced many blacks out of these U.S. cities with large black populations, many of them have been left isolated, leaving them culturally, economically, and socially vulnerable.

Despite the aforementioned reports of economic and social despair, many areas of the South contrast to their Northern, Midwestern, and West Coast counterparts by offering opportunities for blacks based off of the sheer size of its black population. Atlanta is often considered a “Black Mecca” and “Black Hollywood” because of the large number of black entertainers, business owners, and public figures who have relocated to Georgia’s state capital. With such a large and successful black demographic, doors are opened for continual black community growth.

While the South remains the hub of American conservatism, it has simultaneously become the preferred location of Black Americans from around the country to return to the very same region that once enslaved them, and now enables them to improve their quality of life.
