Rachel Batiste-Barber — the wife of Andre Barber–wrote a Facebook post on Sunday recalling the turn of events on Saturday, July 23, when her husband was racially profiled at a Dave and Buster’s in Clackamas Town Center. To this date, the post has been shared nearly 7,000 times.

In the Facebook post, she goes on to explain that her husband was singled out because of his hairstyle–cornrows–based upon a teenage white girl’s false allegations that he had stolen $16 from her. After an extended period of time in which Mr. Barber was forced to plead his innocence, law enforcement officers from the Multnomah County (Oregon) sheriff’s department were called to the establishment. After going through an extensive screening process, Mr. Barber and his family were escorted out of the Dave and Busters by the officers.

Mrs. Batiste-Barber added that “We didn’t get to finish our time at Dave and Buster’s… we didn’t go to dinner, I had been in tears, the kids were scared and just wanted to go home.”

He was detained by the FBI and booked into Multnomah County Jail on Wednesday night, the prison’s records show.

Bundy, who once alluded that Black people would be better off if they were still in slavery, intended to travel to Burns, close to the wildlife refuge, faces federal charges related to a standoff at his ranch with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in 2014.

Sources say there was a SWAT team waiting for Bundy when his plane landed in Portland.

Vance Day serves as a judge for the state of Oregon’s Supreme Court. According to an article featured on Raw Story, Vance has allegedly been known to abuse his authority as an official in the court of law. Some of his most questionable actions include having inappropriate contact with convicted felons, using his judicial powers to postpone a wedding to determine if the couples he was supposed to marry were gay, but perhaps his most despicable offense involves him hanging a portrait of Adolf Hitler in the “Hall Of Heroes” gallery–a gallery of portraits which was his idea.

Although he eventually took the portrait down, his notorious reputation in Oregon has received the attention of the national media last year.

The mainstream media has been extremely quiet about this blatant act of terrorism. Last year in Baltimore, after the lynching of a Melanoid youth by the name of Freddy Gray, authorities lied to the federal government and claimed that “Crips, Blood, and BGF gang members were joining forces to attack the police.” The federal government responded by sending military tanks, troops with automatic guns, and other wartime weapons to contain the threat in Baltimore. And after investigation, the Department of Justice concluded that there was no such threat.

But these white extremists in Oregon have actually shown up to a federal building armed with weapons, and there has been no military retaliation from the federal government.

In the context of systematic white supremacy, this is exactly what is supposed to happen in a system of unequal justice based on race.

This “white supremacist backlash” has occurred recently for a brave white police officer from Oregon,who turned in his chief for making a series of racist slurs about Black people. Officer Alex Stone, of the small city of Clatskanie, Oregon, said he and fellow officer Zack Gibson decided to come forward after witnessing their police chief, Martin Hoover, pound on his chest and howl like a monkey while being briefed about a complaint by a Black suspect.

Race soldier Martin Hoover was placed on paid administrative leave after the complaint and retired soon afterwards, receiving praise from the city for his services.

Since officer Alex Stone has come forward to expose the injustices of the department, his life has been threatened by other white supremacists who wish to punish Stone for breaking the “code”.  “I’ve received death threats, a tire flattened with a nail on my driveway. My kids, they’re afraid to go outside”, Stone has said in a recent interview.

‘My wife’s been forced off the road twice. I’ve had people in the community yelling the N-word at me.’

It’s a shame that we live in a society where being honest and doing the right thing and standing up for justice, is something that will garner death threats from people who wish to maintain a system of injustice against people based on race.

Militia groups are gathering in southern Oregon to back gold miners embroiled in a Bundy-style dispute with the Bureau of Land Management.

Federal authorities said they had notified the miners earlier this month that they were out of compliance with BLM regulations and ordered them and their equipment off the land by April 25.

Many of these groups use code names titles like “patriots”, “oath keepers”,to disguise their true white supremacist views. But as we saw with the Cliven Bundy standoff in Nevada last year, the more media outlets kept giving Bundy camera time to talk, the more he began to reveal his hardcore racist views about Black people.
