The Starbucks Manager Who Racially Profiled Black Men Is Allegedly Holly Hylton

This week, two innocent Black men went into a Philadelphia Starbucks, and waited for a business colleague to join them for a scheduled meeting. The store manager, who is alleged to be a white woman named Holly Hylton, called the police on the two gentlemen for no apparent reason.

The Philadelphia police arrived, charged the men with “trespassing”, and took them out of the store in handcuffs. This story has now generated national attention, which has led to a boycott of the Starbucks chains altogether. The CEO issued a written apology for the incident, but there has been no mention of the company termination the suspected white supremacist store manager.

The alleged store manager Holly Hylton is in the process of deleting all of her social media profiles.

A Mysterious Disease In Philadelphia Is Targeting White People

A mysterious medical disease that is only targeting white people is being investigated in the Montgomery County, PA. area. Doctors say that it’s a lung infection that has been linked to water. The disease is called Nontuberculous Mycobacteria or NTM.

It’s a lung infection, similar to tuberculosis, that is caused by a bacteria found mainly in water but also in soil and in the air. Doctors say the number of patients is growing.

The unlikely victims are white, thin, post-menopausal women who live in affluent neighborhoods around Philadelphia’s Main Line.

A study from the American Thoracic Society and the National Institutes Of Health identified 7 significant clusters of NTM around the country. One of the clusters was found in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area where significant clusters were identified in Montgomery County.

Doctors say African-Americans and people who are heavy tend to not get NTM even though the bacteria that causes it is everywhere.

So why do only certain people develop the infection? “We don’t know,” says Dr. Leah Lande, a pulmonologist at Lankenau Medical Center. “A lot of people are trying to figure that out now but that’s not really understood right now.”

Black Father Treated With Excessive Force While Holding His Infant Daughter

PHILADELPHIA (PA) — Ellis Smith, a 20-year-old Melanoid man who was a passenger on a SEPTA train, was arrested by cops because he allegedly refused to pay the boarding fee. In the following video, there appears to be excessive force applied to Mr. Smith, who was attempting to shield his infant daughter from the force applied upon him by the officers.

The fee, which is $2.25, is actually waived as it applies to children under 4 years of age. In the following video, you can see Mr. Smith being placed in a chokehold by one of the officers on the train.

“We don’t teach people to grab persons by the throat,” says Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority Police Chief Thomas Nestel in a statement issued in response to the incident.
