A Joe’s Crab Shack near Minneapolis was visited by two Melanoid people on Wednesday when they noticed a photo depicting a lynch mob featuring captions with tasteless humor. Tyrone Williams and Chauntyll Allen–the two customers who noticed the photo, complained to management about what they saw, then opted not to dine at the establishment.

The Minneapolis chapter of the NAACP intervened upon hearing of the incident, and the chapter’s president, Nekima Levy-Pounds had the following to say in a press conference:

This disturbing incident that occurred at Joe’s Crab Shack, demonstrates that racism is still alive and well in this country. It is sickening to know that someone would make a mockery of black men being savagely lynched and then use that imagery for decorative purposes in a restaurant.

“I have felt sick to my stomach and stressed out since seeing that image on the table where I was planning to eat my food,” Tyrone told Minneapolis’s KARE 11.

Drake and her daughter were deeply offended by what they witnessed while walking down the aisles of the store. One of the store’s shelves displayed stationery block lettering, which is a commonplace item for the retailer to have in stock. What struck Birgette and her daughter was the way one of the shelves’ lettering was positioned.

One of the rows on the display had the block letters spelling the word “niggars” (sic), which prompted Brigette to immediately report what she saw to one of the store’s cashiers.

According to Drake, the cashier laughed, and admitted to arranging the letters to form the racial slur. After the cashier’s disrespectful comment, Drake took to Facebook, where she posted the following:

Today I was at shopping with my 12 year old at Michaels and noticed this display. I went to the front and told them about the issue. The response they had was more than ridiculous, ignorant, racist and truly unacceptable. The lady said while laughing, “Oh I did that (sarcastically), but no really that is hilarious.” To which I replied: “No that is not hilarious you need to go fix it”

‘She realized I was not amused or joking and completely changed her joking jovial face. Just because I am white,

‘I do not tolerate injustice and also find it absurd that she would assume I would find racial slurs even moderately funny. My 12-year-old (biracial) daughter whom was with me was devastated.

‘To say the least the employee’s behavior was beyond inappropriate and you should be ashamed for hiring such employees.

The reason for her daughter’s grief? Constant racial remarks and gestures from the school’s white students.

“Some of the students think it’s okay and think it’s funny to say the N-word, say jokes about it,” says Roni Cook, one of LaRhonda’s two daughters. Roni, who was a member of the school’s cheerleading squad, eventually quit due to her being called a “nigger” by one of the white cheerleaders.

Pickerington High School North’s white students have spotted Snapchatting themselves dressed in a KKK uniform (as seen in this story’s featured photo), and one of the white female studnets posted a picture of herself on social media in blackface with a racial slur in the photo’s caption, which can be viewed below.

In lieu of the notoriety that the school has received for allowing its white students’ racist behavior to go unchecked for an extensive period of time, officials have implemented “sensitivity training” to attempt to convince white students to ‘get along’ with the Melanoid students of the school. Scalia, who has served as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice since the Reagan Administration, has received high praise for his staunch conservatism. On Wednesday (Dec. 9th), Scalia questioned the affirmative action policies of the University of Texas during a hearing. Here’s what he had to say, according to the excerpt of the hearing’s transcript provided by CNN: 

There are those who contend that it does not benefit African-Americans to get them into the University of Texas where they do not do well, as opposed to having them go to a less-advanced school, a less — a slower-track school where they do well,” Scalia said, according to the transcript. “One of the briefs pointed out that most of the black scientists in this country don’t come from schools like the University of Texas.

Apparently, Scalia wasn’t finished making disparaging remarks toward Black students as he had this to say as well:

They come from lesser schools where they do not feel that they’re being pushed ahead in classes that are too fast for them,” Scalia said. “I’m just not impressed by the fact that the University of Texas may have fewer. Maybe it ought to have fewer. And maybe some — you know, when you take more, the number of blacks, really competent blacks, admitted to lesser schools, turns out to be less.

Of course, the statements made by Scalia were too late to take back, but that wouldn’t stop other members of the dominant society to attempt to participate in damage control anyway. It is deeply disturbing to hear a Supreme Court justice endorse racist ideas from the bench of the nation’s highest court,” says Nevada’s Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid. “The only difference between the ideas endorsed by Donald Trump and Scalia is that Scalia has a robe and a lifetime appointment.

While Reid’s statement holds weight, it must be noted that many whites–much like Harry Reid and whites who have openly taken a stance against the views of Antonin Scalia–feel a sense of discomfort when another member of their racial group makes blatantly racist remarks. This gives off the implication that they actually justify the ideologies of people like Scalia in private, so long as they don’t get off code in public.

In places like Washington, D.C. and New York City, apps such as SketchFactor  (an app used to report “sketchy” people) and GhettoTracker.com are gaining traction with users. With these applications, Black people are being reported at an alarming rate. With GhettoTracker.com, users of the online platform are asked to rate neighborhoods based on whether they feel that the areas are “safe” or “ghetto”.

In Washington, a movement titled “Operation GroupMe” has become prevalent in the Georgetown area of D.C. It was created last February out of Georgetown Business Improvement District’s partnership with the local police to initiate “real-time mobile-based group-messaging app that connects Georgetown businesses, police officers and community members.” The app has nearly 400 users who racially profile countless innocent Black people.

The white supremacists of these online communities  even communicate with each other in code, referring to Melanoid people as “aa”–an abbreviation for African-American. It has been reported that hundreds of photos of unsuspecting Black people have been shared in these groups. On one occasion, a Black female employee of retailer American Apparel  (wearing orange) took a selfie with an unsuspecting shopper in the background with a caption that read: “Look out for these girls. Known thefts.” After another user commented on the employee’s selfie, stating that “Only known thieves would smile for the camera.” The actual manager of the store left a following comment that read, “Yea, not to be confused, girl in orange is our employee.”

One of the more alarming facts surrounding this issue is that these apps are being implemented in U.S. metropolitan areas (Bay Area, D.C., New York) that are being notoriously gentrified, with suspected white supremacists new to these areas reacting out of paranoia of contrived Black threats to their neighborhoods.

Scott Lattin, a white man in Whitney, Texas, told police that Black people vandalized his truck by spray painting “Black Lives Matter” over the top of his truck’s previously decorated messages that showed support of police. Lattin contacted the police on September 8th.

Whitney Police Chief Chris Bentley describes the incident as “very disturbing”, and also left this statement:

We had initial video when the officers took the report and then when we saw your story on Channel 4. When we looked at those two videos, there were some differences in those and that led us to take the investigation into a different direction

Lattin denied that he vandalized his own truck, but according to the arrest warrant, Lattin did indeed vandalized his truck for insurance reasons.

Clinton, like many other suspected white supremacists from the dominant society, have sought (and often succeeded) to gain favor with Black people to meet their various agendas. People such as Dog the Bounty Hunter, George W. Bush, and Paula Deen have all  committed acts of racism/white supremacy–be it political, verbal, or social–only to turn around and butter up to Melanoid people for our forgiveness and ultimately, our support of them.

Black people’s forgiveness and eventual support of suspected white supremacists can be directly connected to the provisions of the now-infamous Willie Lynch Letter . This mindset can also be attributed to the “Stockholm Syndrome”, which is a psychological condition that causes the oppressed to harbor affinity for their captors/oppressors. This trend of behavior is a stark contrast to members of other racial/social groups who have a zero-tolerance policy for people who offend their group(s). At this point, it’s a safe bet to realize that Donald Trump won’t be getting love from Latinos anytime soon, or that Nazi apologists will be able to fall in the good graces of Jewish Americans.

So, what is it that possesses us as Black people to give the green light to those who have historically violated us? Just ask yourself that question the next time a white republican politician randomly shows up at your church skinning and grinning for your vote…the BLACK vote.

The report goes on to elaborate on how Hogan was caught on a sex tape with a woman. On the tape, there is audio that captures Hogan using the “n-word” more than once in reference to Melanoid people. In an interesting twist to the news story, it has also been revealed that WWE CEO Vince McMahon referred to another white WWE star–John Cena–as the “n-word” right in front of a Melanoid wrestling star by the name of “Booker T”. McMahon then proceeded to walk away form Cena in an exaggerated walking style that easily implies he is ridiculing a Melanoid person.

With the recent controversy surrounding Hogan, one must look at a recent chain of events that occurred leading up to the latest story. In 2014, an article was featured in November of last year, a story on Sole Collector (a sneaker publication and website) did a story on how Hogan loved to flaunt his large collection of Air Jordan sneakers to people via social media. In fact, you can view a quick video clip of him showing off some of his collection of Jordans below.

According to Hulk Hogan, his usage of the “n-word” has been validated because certain Black people deemed it ok for him to use as he pleases. This mindset of the wrestler is reminiscent of the “slumming” phenomenon, in which whites will hang out with a few Blacks in order to appease their appetite for debauchery before returning back to their communities to “sanitize” themselves of any semblance of Black culture. As most people in American society know all too well at this point, Air Jordans have been perceived to be synonymous with Black culture, style, and overall “swag”, as seen in the eyes of many non-Melanoid people.

Historically, many suspected white supremacists “slum” in order to get their “Black fix” while keeping their racist ideologies intact. It is also done to overcompensate for trying to convince Black people that they can be trusted, because they’re the “cool white people”. Now that Hulk Hogan’s racial tirade has been revealed, is it quite possible that he resorted to slumming for this very same reason?

Sir, that incident had nothing to do with “racism” – but you and Al Sharpton and your attorney general tried your best to make it so.

If that wasn’t enough, he proceeds to refer to the late Mike Brown (the teenage Melanoid victim killed by Race soldier Darren Wilson in Ferguson, MO last summer) as “the very large black man in Ferguson, Missouri, who had been seen and identified on videotape robbing a small store, walking out with a batch of stolen cigars and threatening the small Asian owner who tried to get him to pay might also have been imagined by you as “your son.”

Boone also implies that America’s problem is actually a spiritual/moral one, instead of a racial issue.

“God loves America, Mr. President. But during your watch, His name is being erased from public life, forbidden in schools, ignored and repudiated in much public policy and laughed at in popular entertainment. You declared, “Whatever America once was, she is no longer a Christian nation.”

Whether Pat Boone’s delusional behavior towards blatantly racially motivated incidents such as the one in Charleston is contingent upon his advanced age–or his elevated white privilege as a celebrity–remains to be seen.  Regardless of the aforementioned speculations, “moral” zealots like Pat Boone are actually America’s problem.

In the comments section of the Miami Herald’s website, Iber decided to leave a comment via his Facebook account which showed his staunch support for Eric Casebolt, the white supremacist race soldier who assaulted Melanoid teenagers last week at a pool party in McKinney, Texas. Below is a screenshot of Iber’s comments left on the site:

Ambrose Sims, the Black man who responded to Iber’s comments in the screenshot, happens to be a veteran of the Miami Beach Police Department, yet he refused to allow his position as a law enforcement officer be held to higher regard than his race, as you can see in his comment. Iber allegedly claimed that he meant to leave the comment anonymously, which further validates suspicion  about the racist trolls who lurk on Internet stories (which are serious in nature) where Melanoid people are the topic of those particular stories. What is even more alarming about this situation is that Iber served as a principal of a school that is 85 percent Black.

Iber was asked to step down form his position as principal of North Miami Senior High School today. He has been reassigned.
