Rep. Al Green, a Democrat, held a town hall meeting and played recordings of several threatening voicemails left at his offices by white supremacists in Houston and Washington, the Houston Chronicle reports.

One male caller used a racial insult and threatened Green with “hanging from a tree” if he pursues impeachment of Donald Trump. Another man left a message saying Green would be the one impeached after “a short trial” and then he would be hanged, according to the recording.

The Trump supporters can also be heard on the recordings repeatedly referring to the Black congressman as a “nigger”, while threatening him with different forms of violence.

Scott Lattin, a white man in Whitney, Texas, told police that Black people vandalized his truck by spray painting “Black Lives Matter” over the top of his truck’s previously decorated messages that showed support of police. Lattin contacted the police on September 8th.

Whitney Police Chief Chris Bentley describes the incident as “very disturbing”, and also left this statement:

We had initial video when the officers took the report and then when we saw your story on Channel 4. When we looked at those two videos, there were some differences in those and that led us to take the investigation into a different direction

Lattin denied that he vandalized his own truck, but according to the arrest warrant, Lattin did indeed vandalized his truck for insurance reasons.

Darren Goforth, a 10-year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, was shot and killed on Friday in what officials are calling an “execution-style” attack. The suspect, , was apprehended less than 24 hours after authorities say he ambushed Goforth at a gas station. He’s been charged with capital murder.

Goforth is survived by a wife, a 12-year-old daughter, and a 5-year-old son.

“We’ve heard Black Lives Matter, All Lives Matter. Well, cops’ lives matter, too,” Harris County Sheriff Ron Hickman said at a press conference Saturday.

There is zero evidence that Shannon Miles is connected to Black Lives Matter or any other Black organization,and these suspected white supremacist officials endanger the safety of other innocent Black citizen by playing the race card in a case that has no evidence of racial motivation whatsoever.

Although this developing story is guaranteed to spark much debate from many schools of thought, perhaps one of the most confusing (and disappointing) ideologies emanating from Black Society throughout this ordeal is the lambasting of Sandra Bland’s outspoken and unapologetic celebration of her own Blackness. Earlier this year, we here at Melanoid Nation touched on a topic that relates to the issue at hand, and that is some Melanoid peoples’ tendencies to not want to care about systematic racism/white supremacy “as long as it doesn’t affect them directly”. This particular topic stems from the “Sandy Speaks” series of videos that she would upload on social media, in which she would openly speak on topics such as racism/white supremacy, white privilege, and the empowerment of Melanoid people.

In some circles of Black Society, there is a belief that if Sandra wouldn’t have been as outspoken or unapologetically Black, then she would be alive now. This same method of assumptive thinking also applies to the “Maybe they just shouldn’t have sagged their pants” sector of Black Society as well. This couldn’t be further from the truth, as Melanoid men, women, and children were senselessly lynched during  the first half of the 20th century in large numbers wearing suits, dresses, and school uniforms. It’s quite safe to acknowledge that many of these innocent people did what they could to stay out of trouble, and were highly productive citizens of society at that time before being killed by white supremacists.

Everyone in Black Society has a role to play in making their racial family a better one, and it is understandable that everyone doesn’t choose to be as public on their racial views as other Melanoid people. However, let us honor and support those who aren’t afraid to openly use their voices speak truth to power at the risks of losing ruining their reputations, losing their livelihoods, and even their lives. Perhaps this particular matter alone has provided enough incentive alone for us to create larger and more prevalent Black-owned and operated media outlets. This should be done in order to allow revolutionary spirits such as the Sandra Blands of the world to be our voice of reason without censorship or apprehension.

Today, we applaud the late, great Sandra Bland for her courage, and her beautiful spirit. She illustrated that there is indeed more honor in dying on our feet than living on our knees.

Sandra Bland, the Melanoid woman whose body was found in her jail cell on Monday, July 13th, died as a result of what appeared to be a modern day lynching. The Naperville, IL native who made her way to Texas in pursuit of a job opportunity, and was arrested by Waller County (TX) cops at a traffic stop.

Ms. Bland, who used the power of social media to be vocal on such issues pertaining to Black Society, as evident in this video, was very open and sincere about the plight of Melanoid people in this racist/white supremacist society. However, authorities of Waller County, TX claim that her death was a suicide, and other people in the dominant society are implying that she suffered from depression based on a video that she recorded in March. You can see the video below.

As you can see below (on the left), she also showed spoke truth to power by changing her Facebook profile picture to a Melanoid Nation meme back in April:

Sandra Bland was fully aware of the current epidemic of police brutality towards Melanoid people, which prompted her to change her Facebook picture to this meme back in April.

Those who knew Ms. Bland best refuted claims of her being depressed and suicidal. LaVaughn Mosley, her friend and mentor, said the following in regards to her deceased friend’s overall well-being:

“She was in good spirits. She was looking forward to what was next. She was making plans for the future, so there’s no way she was in a suicidal state.”

Although depression is a serious issue in Black Society, we must consider the fact that much of this stems from the lingering effects of long-term subjugation at the hands of systematic racism/white supremacy. We also understand that one of the tactics of white supremacists is to assassinate the character of any Melanoid person–dead or alive–who seeks to openly challenge their system. Despite whatever personal issues (such as depression) that Ms. Bland would speak on in her viral videos, could she have possibly been murdered by the white supremacist jail workers because of her unapologetic approach to Black issues and the love for her people?

The Frenship Independent School District has fired one of their teachers after widespread backlash over her racial rhetoric. Karen Fitzgibbons, a teacher at Bennett Elementary School in Wolfforth, outed  herself as a white supremacist by posting an extremely racist post on her Facebook page. Fitzgibbons apologized for the post – which she deleted Wednesday evening, after it was widely shared across social media.

The fourth-grade teacher said she was angry that Cpl. Eric Casebolt had resigned from the McKinney police department after video showed him slam a girl in a bikini to the ground and chase boys at gunpoint while responding to a fight at the community swimming pool.

“I’m going to just go ahead and say it … the blacks are the ones causing the problems and this ‘racial tension,’” Fitzgibbons said. “I guess that’s what happens when you flunk out of school and have no education. I’m sure their parents are just as guilty for not knowing what their kids were doing; or knew it and didn’t care.”

The veteran teacher expressed regret that black Americans were no longer legally obligated to live in segregated neighborhoods and attend separate schools from whites.

“I’m almost to the point of wanting them all segregated on one side of town so they can hurt each other and leave the innocent people alone,” Fitzgibbons said. “Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something. Now, let the bashing of my true and honest opinion begin….GO!”

She punctuated her rant with a hashtag that insisted “I’m not racist,” along with two more that complained she was “sick of them causing trouble” and reminding readers that “it was a gated community.”

We now have to wonder,how many Melanoid children were mis-educated by this “veteran” white supremacist teacher who had these extremely negative views about Black children all this time?

A police official said multiple people in the vicinity of the pool did not have permission to be there and refused to leave or obey police commands. The video shows one particular officer (who is unnamed by  police officials in an effort to protect his identity ) engaging in Nazi/Jim Crow styled racial attacks on the Black teens, while white teens who could also be seen in parts of the video,were ignored and untouched.

The same race soldier was also seen on video roughing up Black female teenagers and throwing one of them to the ground and sitting on her back.

This video is further proof that Melanoid citizens are in a system of white supremacy/domination and Melanoid children are not safe from the tyranny of white supremacist race soldiers. The national Melanoid dialogue should be what are we going to do about this.

The song, which was recorded nearly two years ago in June of 2013, opens up with the girls rapping the words “Niggas niggas niggas they always look at me, I want to kill them now, I want to hang them from a tree.”

As if their rap song wasn’t appalling enough, their unconvincing apology can be found in this article. The sad reality of the matter is that while these white supremacist females feel threatened by the presence of Melanated men as evidenced in this song, they will in all likelihood be heavily pursued by some young Melanoid men, who automatically assume that white women are the standard of femininity and beauty, as opposed to cultivating long-lasting relationships with young Melanoid women who will always have much more in common with them than the delinquent  racist white female rappers ever will.

DeSoto, a city located in Northern Texas, boasts a Melanoid population of nearly 70 percent. Out of the total businesses owned in DeSoto, a  robust 56 percent of them are Melanoid owned. Although statistics show inclusive graduation numbers regarding all racial groups in DeSoto, the city shows a 92 percent high school graduation rate of individuals 25 years of age or older, between 2009-2013 (Keep in mind that approximately 70 percent of DeSoto’s population comprises of Melanoid citizens).

According to the February 27th news report from NBC DFW, the median income of DeSoto is $60,945, with less than 10 percent of the city’s population living under the poverty line. What is interesting about members of the dominant society who are considering moving to DeSoto is that they are often turned off by the city’s large Melanoid population. Their real estate agents even ask them if they are interested in moving to this city, as if to place doubt in their minds because of the majority Melanoid presence in the city.

For the span of a decade (2000-2010), Melanoid people relocated to DeSoto by the droves, largely in part because of the high standard of living that the city promotes. If this is indeed the case, then much can be said about the collective mindsets of members of the dominant society who opt not to reside in DeSoto for trivial reasons, such as their fear and envy of affluent Melanoid people. Can a city like DeSoto, Texas provide the blueprint for cities across the country (and globe) to establish and maintain a standard of excellence that is conducive to Melanoid empowerment?
