Never in Our illustrious history as a people have we witnessed such a disinterest and outright disregard for the plight of the Black man, woman, and child. I’m sure that by now, many of you have been informed of the endless stream of headlines that include the likes of Black entertainers, athletes, scholars, politicians, and talking heads who have used their highly visible platforms to only drop the ball once they were granted their opportunity to speak truth to power in favor of the millions who look like them.
While many are familiar with the term ‘white guilt’, we must be mindful that people in the dominant society are in a suitable position in which they are allowed to feel, display, and practice deeds that stem from ‘white guilt’–which we all know to generally be nothing more than falsified acts of altruism. Conversely, Black people lack the power, wealth, and influence to “fall on the sword” for other racial groups, because our own houses–like our churchgoing elders like to say–aren’t “in order”.
In my time here on this earth, I can’t recall a time when a member outside of Black society disregarded severe problems that persisted in their own communities for the sake of addressing the Black community’s problems. While I will spare the cliche commentary at this point, I will, however, remind everyone that in spite of what members of the dominant society will have you believe, they hold certain causes…certain creeds…near and dear to their hearts. Our people on the other hand, often get lost in their own humanity to run the extra mile for groups of people who wouldn’t even run half of a lap for us.
Because of the heightened mistreatment that Black people have suffered in recent years, times like these force us to have no other choice other than to circle our wagons, and stand on the side of Black Empowerment. This is the reason for foundations such as this (Melanoid Nation), which serves as a point where we are able to aggregate our resources to support causes that contribute toward the building of a healthier Black society for our descendants.
Although we may be inundated with the overwhelming number of Black men and women who continue to ignore, lie about, and downright make mockery of the issues that are literally costing us precious Black lives, there are many, such as you the reader, who have decided to take matters into their own hands by showing that you DO care.
I believe Black folks will eventually HAVE to come around as more of our children get their heads blown off in the streets. Sadly, but Blacks only react to a disaster. The interesting thing will be how our people will react to the growing tide of immigrants being allowed to flow into this country. We will need to regroup and strengthen each other or claim our place in the gutter of society.
Unless your willing to use people who black people are receptive to(pastors,barbers,hairdressers,etc.) to clandestinely subvert the black community by covertly disrupting the sociological and psychological environment blacks live in. Where their subconscious’s are taught defeatism, cowardice,apathy, hyperindividulasim and under achievement. Which is regurgitated by their conscious mind with phrases like “God gone have to get us through.” “It’s out of our hands.” “This isn’t gonna change anytime soon it’s just the wait is all you can do is look out for yourself.” Debating the conscious mind is like trying to change the position of someone’s shadow rather than the position of the their body. We must incept the unconscious mind. We need a cohesive collective of woke people to subvert the black community so they can open their ears and minds and be apart of the solution.

I can speak on this personally. I got friends and family who are Black and they have become cowardice because we as Blacks lack power or the mental wherewithal to take real action. Let’s face it, the only way for us to get real justice with cases like Eric Garner is for us or those of us who can to take up arms against the NYPD and kill officers like the ones who chocked out Eric Garner. Force has to be met with force, fire has to be met with fire. Oppression creates cowards. And what do cowards typically do, blame those who look like them for these problems. Blacks like my friend is caught up in saying “ghetto Blacks” are the reason why we are treated this way. I ask him what about the individual? I ask him how come a White person can shot up a movie theater shoot up a mall or school and not be profiled yet he can go along with profiling of Black people. And it hurts me because he is a close friend of mine and has helped me out when I was way down. But we get into these arguments all because he and others like him are afraid of White supremacy.
