A group of Melanoid women who are part of a book club were kicked off the Napa Valley Wine Train on Saturday.
In a scenario reminiscent of the first Jim Crow era where Black people had to “mind their manners around white supremacists” on public transportation,especially on trains, a group of Black women were told they were being too loud.
According to one of the Black female passengers who was targeted, one of the suspected white supremacist female passengers on the train allegedly remarked that the laughter of the Black women “annoyed her” because this is “not a bar”.
News of the incident is reaching social media and it has spawned the hashtag #LaughingWhileBlack.
“It was humiliating. I’m really offended to be quite honest,” said 47-year-old Lisa Johnson, who was among Saturday’s group. “I felt like it was a racist attack on us. I feel like we were being singled out.”
The women have since been given a full refund by the train company, but continue to seek a public apology.
In a statement Sunday, Napa Valley Wine Train spokeswoman Kira Devitt said the company “received complaints from several parties in the same car and after three attempts from staff, requesting that the group keep the noise to an acceptable level, they were removed from the train and offered transportation back to the station in Napa.”
This scenario further proves that white supremacist society goes on alert whenever there is a situation with six or more Black people. Melanoid people have to understand we are in a system of white supremacy,and this system is now in a violent nouveau Nazi stage. And Black people can be targeted at any given moment depending on the mood of any suspected white supremacist.
And Melanoid women are not exempt from this.

Once again I am confused. Why do black people have a need to be around other races that don’t want black people around them. I hate to say this but fortunately for this group of ladies they only got kicked off the train. They could have easily been the next Sandra Bland and all the police had to say was that they was heavily intoxicated, aggressive, angry, uncooperative, and threatening. That statement alone would have cleared the police of any wrong doing against the group of females.
The truth is (and I know I am speaking to people who already know) we really have to stop being lazy and start going out of our way to spend money with us and only us. I see both sides of this. On the one hand do not let anyone tell where you can go. On the other side I have my own optical business and I try to cater to the Black community; we are underserved in that industry. But the comment about not buying anything made with white money? I drove a BMW; I had a Jewish friend tell me he would never drive a German car. I told him if I though that way I would never buy anything.
That is the problem with black people. We will not sacrifice for our own good or to prove a point, that is why these people do the things they do to us. Certain things you may not be able to buy from somewhere else but things like wine, shoes, clothes, food, and things of the such can be bought by black owned businesses.

I honestly don’t see what’s wrong here. They were asked more than once to lower their voice levels. The company did what they had to do. As for the passenger making a comment like that, they should have just accidentally tripped her while she was walking up the isle. It would have been her word against theirs. They were transported back to their destination and given a refund, there is no need for an apology if they were asked more than once to lower their voices. I would have been annoyed also. What I’m not understanding in all of this is why the term melanoid is being used. It looks ridiculous.
