One of the running jokes in Black Society when it comes to building an economy is that we haven’t even created products that will meet our basic survival needs such as underwear (according to the late great Dr. John Henrik Clarke), and in many cases, toilet paper. One Black-Owned company has answered this call and has done the latter.
As its website reads, Freedom Paper Company LLC is committed to providing quality paper products to its commercial clients and vendors. Not only does the company offer paper products, but it also offers an impressive variety of industrial products that are considered necessities in order to make our lives a little easier, as the catalog shows here.
In addition to the company’s mission to serve with quality and environmentally-friendly products, the Baltimore-based company is doing another great deed for the community. If customers purchase any Freedom Brand Bathroom Tissue package of 48 rolls or more, then the company will donate 10% from those purchases to the family of Mr. Freddie Gray, the young and unarmed Melanoid man who was senselessly murdered last month by cops in Baltimore.

Yes. I love this. Freedom Paper Company, offering basic toiletries and other goods and services our community needs and they creating jobs for our people too. Cause Lord needs we need it. Any city, state, or county with a large black middle class has a large concentration of black owned businesses. Cause without successful black owned businesses, you cannot have a strong black middle class, its not happening. Thats just reality. Cause you can count on one hand the number of black owned businesses down in Miami’s Liberty City. Asians and Arabs and a few Jews own most of Liberty City. As well as Overtown, Brownsville, Opalocka, Arcola Lakes, Earlington Heights, and all them places. Now Miami Gardens, Miramar, Little Haiti, Miami Shores have fairly large concentrations of middle class blacks, mostly Jamaicans, Haitians, and other West Indian people. But thats the Carribean people, who go to school and educate themselves and a lot of Jamaicans are educated when they come here. They come with education, with money, and family connections in the right places. Black West Indians are all about ownership. They own homes, cars, land, and businesses. Thats how they role. Almost every single Jamaican family I know including my own, are in positions of ownership. They all own either a home, car, or several cars, land, a business, or in many cases all of the above and more. In fact, outside of South Florida, most African Americans I know are homeowners and vehicle owners, a few of them are business owners and do well, very well. At least most are homeowners. These American blacks in South Florida are a different color. Their not friendly, not hospitable, they walk around looking angry and madface, they have no unison, no cohesion, no unity, and no civic engagement. They let the Cubans and other Spanish people shit on them. They let their homes, cars, and places of business go to shit. I love black people but I hate niggas. Peace.

Baltimore, Oakland, and Other cities get a bad rap but these very same cities have many successful black owned businesses and a large black middle class. Oakland I know for a fact has a large black middle class and many black owned businesses, successful and longstanding black owned businesses that have thrived for decades, lots of em. We got so many positive things happening in our community, all over America. Too many to count. I dont care what other communities got, thats cool for them and aint hating on em, but I care about my black community and what we got. Im concerned with wealth creation. And I want my people to be concerned with it too. I choose wealth and success in life. I’ve made the Wealth Choice.
