Black People Should Stop Getting On TV Saying They Forgive Killer Cops

In the wake of the murder of an unarmed Black man named  Walter Scott at the hands of a white police officer in S.C.,media outlets are going out of their way to run “family forgiveness” stories about those close to Scott. Media outlets ran stories on how Scott’s mother said that she has “forgiveness in her heart” for the white cop who killed her son.

Below is footage of the Scott family singing what some perceived to be “Negro Spirituals” after the murder of their relative Walter Scott.

And now another news outlet is running a story on how a friend of Walter Scott named  Dennis Dye has “forgiven” the police officer for killing his friend. (watch the interview here)

This is a common tactic used by the media when it comes to Black victims of suspected white supremacist murderers. The media outlets will scout through friends and family members of the victims who seem the most compassionate, then try to steer them into a narrative about forgiveness. Once these friends and family members of Black murder victims proclaim their forgiveness, the suspected white supremacist media outlets will run headline stories about it.

By running these “forgiveness” stories from family and friends of Black murder victims, the media outlets hope to  influence the minds of potential jurors. If a potential juror (especially a suspected white supremacist juror) sees that the family of the Black murder victim has forgiven the police, then the juror should forgive him as well and potentially vote to have the white cop acquitted.

This is why from this point on,as part of the Melanoid Code,Black people who are friends or family members of murder victims at the hands of suspected white supremacists, should never get on television or any other media and announce that they forgive the killers. This is always used against the people who are in need of justice, and we cannot keep falling for the same tricks and tactics of the white supremacists.

If you want to forgive,it would be best for you to do privately. But to allow the racists news outlets who clearly have an agenda to exploit the spirituality of those in the Black community, and use that against you,is completely self defeating and illogical at this point.

One thing we never see are news outlets running stories about families of white crime victims at the hands of Black perpetrators claiming they “forgive” the Black suspect.

We are in a system of white supremacy. And trying to gain some type of “spiritual sympathy” from those who practice white supremacy has not and will not work.

Unfortunately too many of us are brainwashed by Christianity & we think that white jesus wants us to forgive our transgressors. Whites have used Christianity to their advantage while blacks allow it to stagnate them.

For us to get ahead first thing we must do is let go of that religion. I don’t care what brothers & sisters decide to practice but we have to get away from Christianity. Elijah knew this. I’m not in the NOI but if some of us absolutely need to be a part of a religion then this is probably the best one to free black people’s mind.

    1. bill says:

Did Elijah know this when according to Malcolm he he impregnated eight women on his staff?

    2. Karol says:

Arabs are just as much or more racist that the majority population in the USA. They continued the slave trade well past when it ended in the West. Let’s also not forget what is going on in Africa right now in the north and in Nigeria.

      1. dandiro says:

Elijah was a fraud and a racist, a uncle Tom in disguise. But real Islam is not a religion of Arabs, it’s for ALL people. It secures the rights of all and unlike Paul’s version of Christianity it was never used to handcuff a specific race and elevate another. The real Messenger of God said; “All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action…..”

    3. Reggie LeBlanc says:

Getting away from Christianity is not necessary because true Christianity does nkt brainwash. We need to get away from fake prophets/ministers/bishop who use religions to brainwash us.

    5. Dru Williams says:

True brotha…Took me a while to get that frame of mind working because I was raised as a Christian but being older and doing research has helped me greatly.

  2. fras says:

Islam is just a continuation of Christianity. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, are all essentially apart of the same family, and are derivatives (copy-cats) of African religions. I’d say do away with all of those copy-cat religions, and move towards the traditional African religions of the Yoruba (Orisha) or Kemetic religion if you need a religion.

I am of the opinion that our spirituality is akin to philosophy, we use it as guidance, not necessarily a pill to combat whatever situation we are in for us without us having to life a finger. We must move our bodies, and exert our energy, not sit idly by and wait for a God. Religion helps our emotions, helps us stay calm, helps us retain our resolve in our battles in life. It is not a weapon. Our weapon is our mind and our bodies.

    1. Julee says:

YES. ^^^^ What fras said. I was raised white catholic girl…we must grow beyond these false divisions of religion…and of “race” and of all that divides us. This however, by no means suggest, that we continue to sweep all of the historical context of african traditions, contributions, scholars, spirituality and the history of colonialism and forced slavery and christianity. In order to one day be truly “color blind” as so many white people are (innocently) fond of saying…we must first *see* that we have been blinded by the *white*. The white washing of african history, culture and beliefs. Then, when we can embrace this reality, maybe we are on the road to blurring racial lines and creating a world with love and acceptance of all of the Human race.

    2. MH says:

Good Point, fras! If religion is used as a tool to take action; than that religion is good; However, if you using religion as a pacifier to help you to deal with White Supremacy; than you are in self imposed Matrix. Jesus is not going down from the sky to save us; Superman is not coming. Direct action and pooling or resources will help to save us. Also, many people ARE LEAVING THE CHURCH BECAUSE IT IS NOT SERVING THE PEOPLE’S NEEDS! For example, there are people who tithe their 10% to their church; God forbid you fall on hard times because you can’t even get a check for a month’s rent. The tragedy of this situation is if that person would have SAVED that 10% in a saving account; he or she would have had at least a 3 months cushion to help them until they found new employment. Also, the talk of the “sweet bye and bye” (death) and “It is in God’s hands” is played out; too many people are dealing with poverty, abuse, rape, and illiteracy and they need help and resources, not songs and prayer.

    3. yo says:

They need to stop believing in white Jesus and know our true history

  3. TMC says:

As a black person I am more outrages by the over abundance of blacks killing blacks; gunning eachother down in the street like animals. Why aren’t we united against that? Or are we going to blame it on Christianity and slavedom? The mantra of “Black lives matter” doesn’t resonate in our own communities. But we will all beat the drum loudly and proudly when a white person takes a black life? These murders were wrong and all of the perpetrators, starting from Zimmerman and up to this new one should have been imprisoned for life. But aa a people we need to value life. ..and Black lives.

  4. Emanon says:

Inappropriate behavior of melanated people regarding White Supremacy.

Apathy and passivity(religiosity) when your kids die = zombie behavior…

White supremacists have succeeded in creating zombies, appearance of live but mentally/spiritually DEAD .

(some will argue that there where melanated people like that before White Supremacy, that might be true but I will argue that racists exacerbate the predominance of this type of people).

Melanated people in that “state” are a lost cause (and let us tell it, most melanated are infected otherwise we wouldn’t be in a System of White Supremacy), nothing will be built with them.

Separation from these people (yes, “these”) is CRUCIAL. They will NEVER support Black Empowerment because they are apathetic (don’t care) about future generations.

We will not be able to build and grow anything with THESE people around Intelligent (please overstand the meaning of the word) Melanated people.

  5. Emanon says:

*edit to my previous comment, words matter:

the kids don’t die, they are assassinated/murdered/slaughtered by White Supremacists (white people who kill Melanated people are not suspects anymore, IMO).

  6. Sig says:

I was thinking the same thing when I saw her on TV saying that she felt “forgiveness in her heart”.

  7. Barbara says:

I have never lost a family member or friend who died at the hands of police but I can say it must be hard to forgive.

  8. Jewel Barrow says:

It hurt me to see how Christians believe the Kkk bible is facts it’s for our ancestors who didn’t have a choice in the matter so black ignorant people who forgive a cop for cold blooded murder can’t be serious cause of people who forgive no wonder there is no real justice shame on yall case closed.

  9. bill says:

Seriously, we may not like it but isn’t that the Christian way? For us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us. Its hard but isn’t that what He taught?

  10. Luther says:

Religion is not the issue. Blacks should stop going on international T.V. saying they forgive, for the reason mentioned earlier. If they want to let somebody know they forgive, tell it to the person privately who committed the murder.

The media plays on this public forgiveness to get the white murderer off.

  11. linda says:

Man this shit is PATHETIC!! the only thing missing is the PLANTATION and a COTTON backdrop. There are still so many slaves in the south its a shame. Ferguson WENT THE FUCK OFF!! CALIFORNIA during the 90’s WENT THE FUCK OFF!!. Dear black men when people can determine your growth/BIRTH rate in a single yr they will also be able to determine your extermination/mortality rat and how many yrs it will take. 2069 is the deadline for negros to be EXTINCT!!

  12. Arzell Harden says:

I’m no longer a Christian but I say you don’t have to leave Christianity if you really can’t see yourself without it–just start using it to your advantage. Hell, I say start using Christianity the same way the dominant white society uses it!

  13. abass kanu says:

Black people must stop that act and should not see white people superior to black people. it is time to say no to white superimacy, they are just human being like us and nothing special about them.

  14. J says:

The response to both the suspected and confirmed White Supremacist should be silence.

  15. Freda P. Jenkins says:

I am in totally agreement with this article, My first reaction to the posts of Mrs. Scott saying she forgives that murdering cop for shooting her son, was disbelief and the thought “here we go again” being used!
Wise-up people, some care nothing about you, your forgiveness is as the article states, used for their own benefit. I am SICK of us being so forgiving!!

  16. Fred says:

I kinda agree with all of you. But one thing, the bible says that you should forgive as the Lord forgives. But even after that forgiveness there is a punishment. So yes cry forgiveness but cry for justice even louder. After all that’s exactly what they would do to you.

  17. Brandon says:

A.B. on what do you base your assertion that Christ binds up people’s minds? Of not for Martin Luther King and the Christians who supported him, we’d be hanging from trees.

Fras, what religions did Christ copy? Name them, and give examples of similarities. For example, in which one of them did someone rise from the dead after dying for everyone’s sins?

People, read for yourselves and don’t let some random internet person’s baseless claims keep you from the truth.

  18. Charles glenn says:

The whole idea that Christians forgive white folks because a “white Jesus” is responsible is absolutely ludicrous. First of all, anyone who has studied the bible and bible history knows that the Christ of the bible is not the picture that is often shown. The Christ of the bible is the One where Jehovah instructed his earthly father, Joseph to take the child and his mother to Egypt to hide there and it does not take a rocket scientist to know that you could not hide an alabaster skinned child in a country of dark skinned people. Forgiveness is something that we must all do, but we do not have to do it with the press.

  19. MindMuscle says:

How about we stop believing in God and Jesus and start believing in Smith and Wesson. If we’re not mentally masturbating over intangible religious fairy tales and history we played no part in, were singing slave songs on our knees asking massa to forgive us for HIM KILLING US!!!All the while white boys are in the woods hunting/shooting,learning survival techniques, martial arts and archery. They got organized malitias while were sitting up in church hoping Jesus swoops from the sky like superman to save us. We better get it together and stop the BS…Time is wearing thin.
