For the last ten years, legendary comedian Bill Cosby has been getting media attention primarily for his many rants against dysfunctional “Black culture”. White supremacists and suspected white supremacists have gladly circulated numerous videos, articles and quotes of Bill Cosby criticizing black society for many of the ills that are prevalent in lower income areas.
This reinvention of Cosby began in 2004 with his infamous “Pound Cake” speech,where he blamed lack of parenting for many issues within black communities.
Sociologist Michael Eric Dyson criticized Cosby in his book Is Bill Cosby Right? Or Has the Black Middle Class Lost Its Mind? Dyson said that Cosby built up years of mainstream credibility by ignoring race in his comedy routines and in his television programs, but that Cosby has now chosen to address the issues of race by chastising poor Blacks rather than by defending them. Dyson says that, in blaming low income Blacks for not taking personal responsibility, Cosby is ignoring “white society’s responsibility in creating the problems he wants the poor to fix on their own.”
Unfortunately Bill Cosby fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book. The dominant society gave Cosby all the airtime, print media and tools he needed to dig himself in a hole. By constantly engaging in respectability politics and finger wagging towards many people in the black community, Bill Cosby ended up isolating himself from many of those within black society.
Now the mainstream media and the dominant society has turned on Bill Cosby. And they turned on him using one of the oldest stereotypes in white supremacist society. A rape charge. The media outlets have chosen to parade around some random white female who claimed Bill Cosby rape her 30 years ago.
Many people are criticizing the woman ( named Barbara Bowman) for coming out after 30 years to tell her story . But we must not overlook the fact that these media outlets are choosing to put this woman on the air. These same media outlets choose to protect white celebrities who are caught up in numerous sex scandals ( shout out to Woody Allen, John Travolta, Roman Polanski,etc).
Many of these media outlets want to blame comedian Hannibal Buress for bringing attention to the Bill Cosby rape cases. Last month Buress did a comedy routine where he brought up numerous rape charges launched against Bill Cosby. But again these media outlets are choosing to use the Hannibal Burress comedy routine as the basis of their coverage.
Ask yourself: Do you honestly believe that this white woman came out of nowhere with her 30 year old rape allegations because of some marginally known stand up comedian’s comedy routine?
Buress was not some well-known comic. It wasn’t like he was some type of household name. So why did they choose to use his comedy routine as the basis for this media slander? Because they were looking for reason to do it. They wanted to slander Bill Cosby anyway and they were looking for the perfect opportunity to do so without appearing to be racist.
Melanoid people are going to have to stop being used by the dominant society. They will parade you around to be the voice of a respectable black person. They will parade you around to be the anti-civil rights black person. They will parade you around to be the anti-militant black person, and the anti-political black person. They will parade you around and shower you with accolades, and call you “America’s Dad.”
But once they have no more use for you anymore and you don’t have the same relevance as before they will literally discard you and destroy your name.
Bill Cosby apparently did everything right. He “pulled his pants up”. He was educated. He was non-threatening. He spoke proper English. He didn’t use profanity. He never openly challenged systematic white supremacy. And after all of that, the white supremacists still rewarded Bill Cosby by labeling him as a rapist.
When are black people going to realize that we are all Melanoid people living under the same system of racism, and despite class,group,fraternal,and political differences,we are all judged and controlled as a group? The reality is,we are going to have to all get a code of conduct as a Melanoid group ,and come up with ways to replace the system of racism with a system of justice.

A person’s right to remain silent is the most powerful deterrent if police aggression we have. Police randomly stop and engage people all the time because people are intimidated or wholly unaware that you don’t have to answer any questions posed to you by police under any circumstance (that will not prevent arrest, but it will prevent confrontation, self incrimination and escalation of officer aggression at the point of the stop).

There is an American Apartheid movement in the United States, whom would gladly have things as bad as South Africa was under British rule years ago, and that is the unfortunate part. Cosby did say some things like the fact that it is stupid to get killed over something trivial, in “The Pound Cake Speech”, and I understand it was a plea to get young black men to realize that they can’t do whatever they want, despite the rule of society and call it “cultural beliefs”. It was a plea to get them to understand that rules are there for a reason and no one in the rest of society will tolerate lawlessness. If this is considered, by this author, to be an “attack on black Americans”, then I disagree with that viewpoint. If a white comedian, for instance, Bill Maher, says that most of caucasian society has failed at something (I.E. immigration standards, racism, educational standards nationwide, healthy eating, intelligent views, religious mythology, etc.), no one jumps up to condemn him (who isn’t at least an inwardly white supremacist that can’t take criticism of their own stupidity) for speaking out against his own race. What is so wrong about that? If black people want to get away from being stereotyped as lazy and criminal (because most of them are just like everyone else) by racists, they need to quit excusing and rationalizing “the plight of” young people of their own race and deal with it realistically. There ARE lots of people in society who are poor. Some of them learn and become strong but many succumb to temptation to commit criminal acts and that includes members of ALL races. The fact that black men and women are arrested more often for the same things (usually non violent drug offenses) that everyone else seems to commit with impunity is a different issue and is being made public as a an awareness that the criminal justice system IS racially unbalanced in so many parts of the country. That isn’t the same issue.
When people in the country understand that income inequality is a problem for ALL of us, especially to the poor, and do something about it, then we will come to understand that the matters of race are a false flag social construct that causes men and women to struggle with survival, that is what really needs to be addressed.

So, one thing that bothers me about all of this talk about white people: how do your normal everyday white people control this organization that is persecuting Bill Cosby? I dont exactly think the media took it easy on Polanski and Allen, considering most people could not name a single film by either one of those artists, yet the only thing most people would know about either of them is that they are involved in a sex scandal. Call me a conspiracy theorist or not. I believe Bill Cosby was allowed to reach such a height and to make as much money as he did, because they knew all about this. He more then likely crossed the wrong person that’s why all of this is happening.
Think of the deals lost and companies that backed out on Bill Cosby after this news. Even though Bill Cosby is worth 400 million, this is a slap in the face for all black people. No matter how much money or status you have, they can easily and swiftly cut off your money supply in an instant if you keep them the source of it.

But look at the case of Bob Filner in San Diego. Same situation. One woman came forward, no one believed her. About 20 more came forward, and Filner was convicted and the city is being sued. 1.) These women don’t come out of the woodwork….the are the only ones who don’t have a gag-order already in place. These women haven’t just come out of the woodwork. In recent days, yes, several women are recounting unwanted sexual advances from Cosby from as early as 1969: These are indications of his character, not a definitive assignation of guilt. However, you forget there there were 13 women who came forward 10 years ago! Ten years ago. Yes there are sometimes conspiracies. But not in this case. Ten years ago he was able to quiet things with a settlement and those women are unable to speak out due to a gag order. So what you’re left with is a few women who were drugged and assaulted and others that are speaking to give context to his character.
2) When the news first started to resurface of these allegations, there were very few articles that even mentioned the settlement and the 13 previous women. Articles on both CNN and CBS news were written from a “neutral” standpoint, but were written to favor Cosby. The accusers were subtly painted as ridiculous and self-serving.

Bill Cosby has been trying to help our community fo some time. From comments Cosby had made about things that happened to him because of race, I believe he knew exactly what could happen to him. None of the allegations started until after Cosby started his community self-help “appeals”. Yes some times he was harsh – but he was always truthful. The women waited many years before saying anything about being raped – supposedly because people might not believe them. When has a white woman ever acussed a black man of rape and he isn’t punished. We will never know if they were raped or not, but Bill Cosby certainly is being punished in the court of public opinion.
I don’t agree completely with this article But the media choosing to publish what it wants to toward a society that will eat it up has a lot to do with why indescretions did not appear on the front page news appear about John Travolta, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Woody Allen. People want to credits social media for a society that has had published news for centuries. A lot of this has to do with perceiving that a black man with a white woman is the ultimate crime. I don’t know if he did it anymore than anyone else does. But the number of women does not make the claim true especially if one was paid how do you know the others didn’t want to cash in? How do you know they don’t want media attention? Or write a book? How do you know that they didn’t have a relationship with Bill and because of Ill feelings saw it as a good chance get him back by preventing him from either continuing the old Cosby show or the new one that has been cancelled because of this? Being alone with a man at a hotel and taking a pill drinking wine sounds consensual to me. It also sounds consensual when you go back to the hotel and take pills the second and third time.
Scrap this article along with the others over the years that hold blacks back in this white dominated world. I and another black guy work everyday at a good paying job that is mostly white. Over the years I’ve seen so many black guys hired and fired because of paranoid articles like this. You mention “THEY” which for the most part means white people. It’s simply not true that most “THEY” white people are racist, they are just different.
But don’t get me wrong, there are many who do believe they are inherently superior to blacks, but we just gotta learn how to work with them allowing the laws to handle situations that might arise, not coming into the workplace with a negative, paranoid “THEY” attitude.
Bill Cosby made a lot of sense to me and right now he is just caught up in the big wheel of the media. Is it race inspired? I don’t believe that. I think it’s more that they are trying to sell a story of interest to the people and for the most part they can care less about the color except for the color green. White people are always gonna dominate in this country as long as we have this destructive way of thinking.
