Non Indictment of Daniel Pantaleo Supports The System of White Supremacy

By Greg Bradshaw
New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo will not be indicted for his role in the July death of Staten Island, NY resident Eric Garner. Pantaleo, who is white, executed an outlawed chokehold on Mr. Garner, who is black, after the officer and four colleagues accosted Mr. Garner for allegedly selling illegal cigarettes. The non indictment comes despite Mr. Garner’s death being ruled a homicide by the city’s coroner’s office.
This edict exacerbates the strained race relations between America and her black inhabitants on the heels of the non indictment of Darren Wilson, a white former police officer who shot and killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown. Mr. Garner’s death preceded showed his pleas for life when he said “I can’t breathe!” as Pantaleo ignored his requests to continue to choke the life out of him. Never mind that all five officers had Mr. Garner on his stomach.
The struggle between Mr. Garner and the officers showed the officers’ apparent lack of respect for black life. Pantaleo could have let up on the illegal chokehold because his colleagues had Mr. Garner under control. Then again, suspected white supremacists have no regard for black life. Making matters worse, on the heels of the non indictment, New York City mayor Bill DeBlasio said “Black lives matter.” Such an assertion would never have to be made if white supremacy didn’t exist. As a native New Yorker, the fact that a white police officer can kill an unarmed black man without impunity is extremely disturbing. It also serves as a wakeup call that white supremacy is on the march in 2014, and if we as black people in America don’t adapt a code of conduct to combat white supremacy fast, we’ll soon meet our own extinction.

  1. We need to destroy wHite supremacy

Don’t forget the fact that the the coroners involved in the case ruled it as a homicide and not an accident. White supremacy isn’t even trying to hide itself anymore. Professionals saying it was a homicide. Video recordings. Doesn’t matter. White supremacy doesn’t care because they know they can get away with it.

In the first term of President Obama I thought he was silent on this issue because he wanted to get a second term but now he has nothing to lose and he is still tap dancing. He has done more for immigration and gay marriage than for blacks being beaten, harassed and murdered by cops. Di Blasio is playing both sides because he wants us to believe he empathizes because he has a tall black son but he also wants the cops union to support him so he said the chokehold should stay legal. Like Bo Jones said stop trying to make people who hate you like you or learn to respect you has as a human being. If they hate you then that is their problem.

This have to stop we got to take a stand .and believe that’s black life matters

@Danny dead on. I thought that he was just keeping quiet to get re-elected, but my fear has been proven justified these past 4 months: he used black people to get elected and once he got sworn in he simply turned his back.

Obama is breaking my heart and every bit of fight I have left on these matters. I voted for him and when I couldn’t I convinced my entire family to do this is

I just think it’s crazy how blacks in general are afraid to talk about stuff like this on social networks. Don’t know if you guys have seen the #CrimingWhileWhite movement on social networks, but at this rate when we finally get some type of legislation in our favor, all the credit will be attributed to white people… Just saying.

    1. Pharaoh Q says:

@MoorMauri the “all the credit will be attributed to white people” statement was deep, didn’t even realize that might happen

@MoorMauri Hey, Bro, hit me up on twitter @realityofty or t-ware. So we can stay connected, talk black, teach and educate.

Barack pulled the wool over my eyes as well. For all his great speeches, he is just another politician. From now on the black community has to come with the money. We have to buy our politicians like everyone else. The Latinos came with cash, that’s why Barack fights for the rights of non citizens. All we came with was a vote.

  6. Eric says:

To those disappointed in Obama’s actions as President, I say that that is what you get for voting the man in because he was the same color as you. Here’s an idea, next time do some homework. Voting for him just because he’s black is just as racist as all the shit you’re putting on whites. Stop whining and get educated. It’s about competence, not color.
