The Organizations of Disorganization

Lately, it’s evident that a spike in ‘Black Consciousness’ has returned, with no signs of subsiding anytime soon. Melanoid people all over the country are flocking to purchase books that depict our history in a factual and favorable light. Our women are rightfully embracing their hair in its natural and Creator-given state. We are taking our families and loved ones to attend lectures given by our most brilliant Black minds. In the midst of this renaissance, there appears to be some individuals in our community who have taken it upon themselves to create dialogue on possible solutions.

While this may often seem like a constructive and noble gesture in the eyes and hearts of many, we must all use our “third eye” by always going into these meetings/conferences with certain questions in mind:

1. Does the individual or group that organized the meeting suggest that we (Blacks) enlist the help of people outside of the community?

This is perhaps one of the more critical questions that you must determine as you choose to attend one of these meetings. Oftentimes, our issues will be discussed in such a manner that may appear unsolvable unless we reach out to non-Black people to fund–and often lead–our movements…as if we are somehow incapable of doing the aforementioned tasks ourselves. Remember, the (outside) hand that finances your causes, RULES. Thus, they determine the course of action–or inaction–that your organization will take from that point forward. Besides, it’s a safe bet to assume that La Raza isn’t in a rush to recruit us to join hands with them anytime soon.

2. Do the individuals or groups who organize the meetings emphasize the need for us to immerse ourselves into a spiritual/religious group?

As African people, we are extremely spiritual. Many concerned Brothers and Sisters in the African/Melanoid community join certain initiatives in hopes that they will be able to make their contributions to the overall improvement of Black Society, but as the meetings commence, the organization or keynote speaker of the gathering may attempt to dupe the attendees into immersing themselves in religious rhetoric by wanting to  form prayer/meditation groups, or other forms of laissez-faire activity in regards to addressing systematic white supremacy.

3. Do the meetings that you attend become nothing more than a breeding ground for combative egomaniacs?

Unfortunately, this occurs at many African-Centered lectures, workshops, and grassroots meetings. The speaker who takes the floor will be providing valuable information, only to be rudely interrupted by a detractor who feels that actually, he or she has the “keys to the kingdom”, meaning, they have the answers…and the well-respected and credible speaker’s informative commentary should be disregarded. Because of the temperamental nature of these Brothers or Sisters, their foolish boldness at these events may or may not be planned and even encouraged by “people in high places”, so expect the unexpected.

4. Are the meetings reduced to conversations littered with defeatist talk and an energy that suggests hopelessness?

If the dialogues in your local African-Centered meetings consist of slave-minded talk which implies that systematic racism/white supremacy is too big of a beast to slay, then immediately dismiss yourself from the gathering. Such talk has poisoned the minds and hearts of Black men, women, and children for centuries to this point, so why involve yourself with the perpetuation of the Willie Lynch Indoctrination?

There is nothing more promising than knowing that Melanoid people across the landscape of this country are feeling compelled to organize. In doing so, just determine that your organizers and colleagues in the African-Centered movements that you join are action-based, and transparent. Identifying, establishing, and enforcing a code of conduct is what our community is desperately needing right now.

Great Article BC. I think one of the Most important warning in the last, The creation of the sense of Hopelessness. But all 4 are the biggest things that destroy our meetings and gathering on finding solution for Black People.

We need a Code for meeting.

I have a code I would like to share that I got from the business world:

    1. All meeting must have a Topic “No Free for Alls”
    2. The Topic must be announced ahead of time.
    3. If there are multiple Topics, they should be split “30 minutes on Economic, 30 Minute on Social Issue”
    4. All Question should be saved until after the meeting, or during defined time during the meeting.
    5. Meeting should have a rank structure: Speaker, Facilitator, Time Keeper, Secretary.
    6. All job should work to keep the meeting on Topic and on Schedule.
    7. All meeting should suggest a solutions for any problem they discuss and create after actions.
    8. All meeting are private, member should pledge not to spread to anyone NDA.
    9. All meeting should be non denominational or non-partisan. Leave Religion and Political affiliation at the door.

Thank you . I’ll post this message every where !

  4. Christine Rickett says:

You have access to so many wonderful mind. Why, why , why can’t you all put your minds together and come up with a National Black Constitution ? We have a black national athem ” LIFT EVERY VOICE ” , so why not Black National Constitution ? Try not leaving out any black leader in the process so there can be no jealousy , unless they advocate bringing our opponents in. White folks have always copied us , well why not use the United States Constitution as a template ? I’m talking about something tangible that we can use as a model starting in all of our communities until it catches on every where . This is a tall order , but COULD IT BE IN HIDDEN COLORS FOUR ? I’m a little person asking for a big order but somebody had to ask.

  5. Christine Rickett says:

About that National Black Constitution ; the purpose is to layout a foundation , just like the United States Constitution . Blacks in the future may tweek , but the point is to give black folks something to build upon . If it flourishes in this generation , that would be wonderful , but the goal is for it to circulate right , so blacks could become familiar with it , and thus have something to build on now or later . If you all draft the outline, pass it around distinguished and trustworthy men and women , young and old for thoughts and suggestions , communities would have something great to begin the building process of our communities . I expect it will take a little time to go around , but it’s a start . The government should not compain about us building up our communities and its character .

  6. Emanon says:

    Greetings,

You should know by now that the dominant society WILL allow you to have a Black national constitution if it does nothing constructive about replacing the System of White Supremacy with a System of Justice.

As far as Melanoid people are concerned, having a Constitution is MEANINGLESS if we continue to live under a System of White Supremacy, just look at all so-called “independent” African countries.

They all have constitutions but NO / ZERO Pan-Afrikan Economic Empowerment (so called Arabs are not Afrikan and despise anything Black – know your history and read the news).

Melanoid people around the world NEED to (not should) concentrate their constructive efforts around building Black Economic Power wherever we live and build constructive business connections with each other.

Unfortunately, our minds have been poisoned with values that are contrary to our own best interest as people of Melanoid heritage… everyone cannot be saved and DOES NOT WANT to be saved — LEAVE THEM ALONE but know who they are !

Black Economic Empowerment is THE priority – racists will not change their ways because it is extremely profitable (read Powernomics).

Melanoid people are a great people in a pathetic condition caused by racists/White Supremacists and their followers.

Changing this condition is the BUSINESS of every individual Intelligent Melanoid person.

  7. confidencemagnet says:

We should use the Powernomics Principles in our groups, laid out so eloquently by Claude Anderson. If it doesn’t follow the guidelines mentioned in Powernomics, then we should set it off to the side. The main points in Powernomics are:

    1. Make it Black-focused, not any intersectionalism (you’re Black but you want to focus on gender or sexual orientation, religion, occupation, political affiliation, etc.). Black people have a fear that if it’s Black-focused, they’ll be considered a racist. Black folks also like including other racial groups or agendas because they don’t want to “bet on Black” to win.

    2. It must have an economic-focus. When Black folks say, “We don’t need money” that’s like saying your car doesn’t need oil. If you don’t have oil in your car, the parts in your car will have a lot of friction and sooner or later, seize up on you. That’s the state of the Black diaspora right now. There is a lot of friction that Black folks are going through due to a lack of a economy base.

    3. You must form a Black community to shield and protect your interest as Black people. Black folks have the habit of letting outsiders into our community and taking over. It’s not just us, it’s our people on the Motherland as well. There is a Chinese Restaurant in Africa right now that says “No Black people” after a certain time of the day. They made up a lame excuse on why but it sounds like “No Black people allowed” no matter how you chop it up. A black community must be Black-owned. Other groups can come into our community, but they must follow the “Black Rules” of that community. Luckily for other groups, it seems like Black folks have a better sense of justice when it comes to treating others.

If the group you join doesn’t focus on these three main points, then it’s not for us. It may be too afraid to follow the Powernomics principles because the Powernomics principles makes you a competitor. A lot of these Black groups talk a good game just like the loudmouth on the sidelines telling everyone in the game that they can’t play for shit. Once you invite them to compete in the game, all of a sudden the excuses come out.

  66. One thing I want to say is that before acquiring more pc memory, consider the machine into which it can be installed. In the event the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, the memory threshold is 3.25GB. Installing over this would purely constitute just a waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle the particular upgrade quantity, as well. Thanks for your blog post.

  67. I have seen a great deal of useful items on your web site about computer systems. However, I have the viewpoint that netbooks are still more or less not powerful sufficiently to be a sensible choice if you often do jobs that require loads of power, such as video touch-ups. But for website surfing, statement processing, and many other popular computer work they are just fine, provided you never mind the tiny screen size. Appreciate sharing your thinking.

  68. I have seen loads of useful factors on your web site about computers. However, I have the impression that laptop computers are still not quite powerful adequately to be a wise decision if you frequently do jobs that require many power, including video enhancing. But for world-wide-web surfing, word processing, and majority of other typical computer functions they are fine, provided you may not mind your little friend screen size. Many thanks sharing your thinking.

  69. Great blog post. The things i would like to bring about is that personal computer memory should be purchased should your computer cannot cope with whatever you do by using it. One can install two RAM boards having 1GB each, by way of example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should make sure the manufacturer’s documentation for one’s PC to ensure what type of storage is required.

  70. Good blog post. The things i would like to bring up is that computer system memory should be purchased in case your computer can no longer cope with what you do along with it. One can install two RAM memory boards containing 1GB each, by way of example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one having 2GB. One should check the company’s documentation for the PC to be sure what type of memory space is necessary.

  71. A few things i have seen in terms of computer memory is always that there are features such as SDRAM, DDR or anything else, that must fit in with the specifications of the mother board. If the personal computer’s motherboard is rather current while there are no main system issues, improving the memory space literally normally requires under an hour. It’s among the list of easiest computer system upgrade procedures one can think about. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

  72. These are really great ideas in concerning blogging. You have touched some fastidious things here. Any way keep up wrinting.|

  73. Thanks for making me to get new thoughts about computers. I also possess the belief that one of the best ways to help keep your mobile computer in primary condition is a hard plastic-type material case, or maybe shell, that fits over the top of the computer. These kinds of protective gear tend to be model unique since they are made to fit perfectly in the natural outer shell. You can buy all of them directly from the seller, or from third party sources if they are for your notebook computer, however not all laptop could have a covering on the market. All over again, thanks for your recommendations.

  74. Interesting blog post. Some tips i would like to bring up is that personal computer memory must be purchased if your computer is unable to cope with that which you do with it. One can add two good old ram boards having 1GB each, by way of example, but not certainly one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should make sure the manufacturer’s documentation for own PC to ensure what type of memory is essential.

  75. Great blog post. Some tips i would like to contribute is that laptop or computer memory needs to be purchased should your computer cannot cope with what you do with it. One can set up two random access memory boards containing 1GB each, by way of example, but not one of 1GB and one with 2GB. One should look for the manufacturer’s documentation for own PC to ensure what type of memory space it can take.

  76. One thing I would like to say is that before purchasing more laptop memory, consider the machine in which it can be installed. In case the machine will be running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory limit is 3.25GB. Setting up a lot more than this would basically constitute a waste. Make certain that one’s mother board can handle the particular upgrade amount, as well. Good blog post.

  77. I all the time used to study paragraph in news papers but now as I am a user of internet thus from now I am using net for content, thanks to web.|

  78. I have acquired some new elements from your internet site about personal computers. Another thing I have always thought is that computer systems have become an item that each residence must have for many people reasons. They offer convenient ways to organize the home, pay bills, shop, study, pay attention to music and in many cases watch shows. An innovative approach to complete these tasks is to use a mobile computer. These computers are mobile ones, small, potent and portable.

  79. Tisha Salzer says:

Appreciate the recommendation. Let me try it out.|

  80. An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment. I believe that you ought to write more about this issue, it may not be a taboo subject but usually people don’t discuss such issues. To the next! Cheers!!|

  81. One thing I would like to say is always that before purchasing more laptop memory, check out the machine into which it would be installed. If the machine will be running Windows XP, for instance, the memory limit is 3.25GB. The installation of over this would purely constitute a waste. Make certain that one’s mother board can handle the particular upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.

  82. Thanks for the ideas you have shared here. Another thing I would like to say is that computer system memory requirements generally rise along with other developments in the technology. For instance, any time new generations of processor chips are introduced to the market, there’s usually a similar increase in the shape calls for of both computer system memory along with hard drive space. This is because software program operated by means of these processors will inevitably increase in power to use the new engineering.

  83. Wow, superb weblog layout! How long have you been running a blog for? you make blogging look easy. The total glance of your site is wonderful, as smartly as the content!

  84. Thanks for your tips. One thing I’ve got noticed is that banks and financial institutions know the spending patterns of consumers as well as understand that plenty of people max out there their cards around the vacations. They prudently take advantage of this fact and begin flooding the inbox as well as snail-mail box together with hundreds of 0 APR credit cards offers shortly after the holiday season ends. Knowing that if you’re like 98% in the American general public, you’ll get at the chance to consolidate credit debt and shift balances towards 0 interest rate credit cards.

  85. Thanks for these pointers. One thing I should also believe is the fact that credit cards giving a 0% monthly interest often bait consumers along with zero rate, instant endorsement and easy over-the-internet balance transfers, however beware of the top factor that is going to void that 0% easy road annual percentage rate as well as throw one out into the very poor house fast.
