U.S. Secretary of State Shows Up in Somalia, Unannounced

Last week, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry paid an unexpected visit to Somalia. According to The New York Times, Kerry’s visit to the east African nation makes him the highest-ranking American official and the first American Secretary of State to make an appearance there since American military forces raided the nation over two decades ago.

In spite of many years of slandering, sanctioning, and portraying the Melanoid Brothers and Sisters of Somalia to be savages in the media, it comes as quite the surprise that Kerry dropped in on the country unannounced.

Why would John Kerry show up unannounced to Somalia on such a 1st time visit for the Secretary of State? Is he showing up unannounced in an attempt to hide his moves from China and Russia? Could it be that the continent is consulting with China beforehand, whenever the U.S. says “We are coming to visit African countries” (which means that Kerry’s showing up in Somalia unannounced could keep China out of the relation talks)? This comes at a time when talks have been held in which China is set to open a military base in the same region, on the Horn of Africa.

Kerry’s visit to east Africa wasn’t limited to Somalia, however. He also visited neighboring Djibouti, reportedly not even leaving the airport during the time that he met with officials there. Follow this link to get the story on John Kerry’s trip to Djibouti.

A video clip of Kerry’s visit to Somalia has been provided below.

Well this clearly shows the blatant disrespect white people have for African countries…

I wonder if our own Foreign Minister in Zimbabwe or any African country makes an unannounced visit to USA or UK he will be tolerated…

  2. Hunting_Jin says:

Glad the nation is on to this, shoulda seen it coming from a mile away

  3. fras says:

May be I am cynical but I don’t like it for a few reasons.

    (1) Showing up unannounced in terms of what? If he didn’t warn the Somali government beforehand, I find that extremely disrespectful and arrogant.

    (2) I read the article on this site and the linked article, and what I see is the Somali government sort of groveling and thanking/praising the U.S. for gracing their country. I don’t care if I was the leader of a 3rd world country, I wouldn’t be praising or thanking you for coming to my country, you ought to be doing the praising and thanking. Maybe that is petty but from what I got out of it, it was as if Somalia was bowing to a king when they have better options imo.

The arrogance of the U.S. is sometimes appalling to me.

    1. dj says:

You wouldn’t praise the U.S. because you know better.

    2. Jon says:

Geez, you people aren’t too bright. What do you mean ” If he didn’t warn the Somali government beforehand?” That makes no sense. First, it’s not a warning. Second, someone would have been alerted…Just not a trip planned way ahead of time.

You don’t want the US SOS making a big announcement about a trip to Somalia. They don’t announce that stuff.

  4. Roger Baron says:

Somalia is a strategic point in military science. he reason its so valuable is US ships and military carriers cant sail through there if it’s not under their control. Without the Suez Canal US ships would have no other choice than to sail around Africa, which is a long distance. Somalia is a 2nd checkpoint that can block the Suez Canal. Making its function useless. That’s why its so important to keep it open. It would stop military/commercial transportation.

  5. Jamal Thomas says:

Don’t followers of this website know anything. Somalia is about to create a vast gap between the rich and the poor due to the recent decision to exploit it’s resources. They want a relationship with Somalia to start trading for that resource. This is basic knowledge. Keyword: “PetroDollar”.

They’ll throw white women, money, and whatever the fuck they want in order to get that oil. They are there to beg for a relationship and stroke the ego’s of the Somalia upper-class.

I don’t trust John Kerry. He’s part of skull and bones like the Bush family. Everything he does should be viewed with suspicion.

  7. The Airmen says:

I don’t trust any of those devils an personally i don’t think there putting that Chinese base there to protect anything that’s complete bullshit. There putting that base there to tighten their grip on the fossil fuels in the area diamonds, gold, African children etc. An i read the link saying ” The US was reportedly angry about the conclusion last year of the China-Djibouti defence deal last year” The only time white people don’t agree is when their fighting over the control of black lives… think about it, the government is setting up something big an don’t want their plan to fail

    1. fras says:

There are Afrocom bases throughout Africa to protect resources that the U.S. has deemed property of the United States. So, yes, you’re right. This is because of the deals with China being made, but China is only after the resources. Practically the whole world except for the African people are scrambling for African resources.

  8. DJ says:

The black diaspora’s continual rubber stamping and going along with global apartheid is what keeps it going. We stop cooperating. It ends. We give the boogeyman power over us by accepting that he has power. Whites make up less than 10/% of the world population, have the lowest global birth rates & the highest rates of suicide. They could not do this by themselves. I tired of hearing us speak as if we have no power and are totally at their mercy. THEY know our power. We are the only fools who seem not to know.
