Nevada rancher and infamous white supremacist Cliven Bundy, the father of Ammon Bundy, the leader of the occupation at an Oregon wildlife refuge, has been arrested after flying into Portland International Airport.
He was detained by the FBI and booked into Multnomah County Jail on Wednesday night, the prison’s records show.
Bundy, who once alluded that Black people would be better off if they were still in slavery, intended to travel to Burns, close to the wildlife refuge, faces federal charges related to a standoff at his ranch with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management in 2014.
Sources say there was a SWAT team waiting for Bundy when his plane landed in Portland.
