The Frenship Independent School District has fired one of their teachers after widespread backlash over her racial rhetoric. Karen Fitzgibbons, a teacher at Bennett Elementary School in Wolfforth, outed herself as a white supremacist by posting an extremely racist post on her Facebook page. Fitzgibbons apologized for the post – which she deleted Wednesday evening, after it was widely shared across social media.
The fourth-grade teacher said she was angry that Cpl. Eric Casebolt had resigned from the McKinney police department after video showed him slam a girl in a bikini to the ground and chase boys at gunpoint while responding to a fight at the community swimming pool.
“I’m going to just go ahead and say it … the blacks are the ones causing the problems and this ‘racial tension,’” Fitzgibbons said. “I guess that’s what happens when you flunk out of school and have no education. I’m sure their parents are just as guilty for not knowing what their kids were doing; or knew it and didn’t care.”
The veteran teacher expressed regret that black Americans were no longer legally obligated to live in segregated neighborhoods and attend separate schools from whites.
“I’m almost to the point of wanting them all segregated on one side of town so they can hurt each other and leave the innocent people alone,” Fitzgibbons said. “Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something. Now, let the bashing of my true and honest opinion begin….GO!”
She punctuated her rant with a hashtag that insisted “I’m not racist,” along with two more that complained she was “sick of them causing trouble” and reminding readers that “it was a gated community.”

A fight started as a result of the comment between a black female child and an adult white woman. Why don’t people like her segregate herself? It doesn’t surprise me. She doesn’t realize the reason Blacks live around Whites because Whites got the better of everything. And we as Blacks strive to have better for ourselves so it’s inevitable that we will live around Whites.
Sad that these are the type of people who educate our kids i wonder if Obama will call her a thug.
The other issue was that some of the Black kids LIVED in the neighborhood. It wasn’t a segregated community that didn’t have any Blacks. Those kids lived there, and invited friends with legitimate guest passes. All of these bigoted whites leave that part out. Or they don’t leave it out…they simply hate the fact that Black live in their little “exclusive” community.
this is nothing new. She was just stupid enough to post her feelings. I am a black male teacher, and I work on a day to day basis with teachers who feel just like this but instead of saying those things their actions show it. So don’t be shocked, every school building across America has a minimum of a handful of these teachers teaching our children. So my advice to parents who don’t have their children and independent black schools, go to the kids school a lot, be a presents, your child’s teacher should know that you are on top of everything and that you will be up there at a moment’s notice. If they feel like that’s not the case, y’all have no idea how these kids get miss treared. the younger they are the worse it is

When i was in elementary school,junior and high school during the 1974-1987, i can rememeber certain teachers who were straight up subtle racists. The only Way i got over was because i was a good student and did not question shit. As i got older,i started analyzing people in general and started seeing people, in particular caucasians,as species to deal with at arms length. For those of us who say “not all white people is bad”: be very careful when u trust a group who historically have shown little regard for us human.be very,very,very careful!
