Thurmeka Muller, an Iraq War veteran, was attacked with a racial slur by a Dallas, TX apartment complex after complaining about the poor quality of her bathtub.
After many unsuccessful attempts to contact Timberlodge Apartments (her place of residence) directly about the problem, she decided to take her issue to the property’s Facebook page, where she left a negative review about the Timberlodge’s neglect of its tenants, only to be addressed in a responding comment as the ‘N’ word by Timberlodge’s page. Here is the report of the racial slur delivered by Timberlodge Apartments
After the incident occurred, Bridge Property Management, which owns Timberlodge, claims that the page was hacked. Timberlodge used their Facebook page to issue an apology to Ms. Muller. Below is a screenshot of Timberlodge Apartment’s response to Muller.
